Not sure how the staff views them, but 247 shows Dean ILB and To'oto'o as an OLB.
Everything I've seen says Bama is recruiting To'oto'o primarily as an ILB.

Im pretty old and not a quick as I should be I guess; but, need for someone to explain to me how Bama ends with 8+ additional recruits for this cycle. (other than grayshirts, not sure how there can be more than 25 in the class),,, asking for a friend, I will hang up and listen,

This Note is from the 3rd line of the 2nd post in this thread. It explains how Bama may be able to take 28-29 recruits in this class. NCAA Bylaws for signing and counter limits are somewhat complicated. So is tracking Bama's numbers, because Bama doesn't make some key details public. So, I'm not 100% certain I've got it all figured out correctly. The two links on the 2nd line of the 1st post in this thread access our 2018-class and 2018-roster numbers tracking.

Ohio State commit's father breaks down Alabama OV (BamaOnLine-VIP)
4-star S/CB Jordan Battle 6-1/187 FL hudl
Battle's father said the visit was great. Patrick Surtain II was their host. Battle's father coached basketball at PS2's school, where PS2's dad coaches. So they know each other well. They haven't had a chance to fully reflect, but he talks like they might already be favoring Bama over Ohio State. He mentioned Bama's success and stability, academic support, personal growth and life after football programs, and Saban's direct coaching of DBs as important factors.

Oh ok. Any chance any current commits could bump up to a 5-Star?
Yeah. Alfano is very likely to be bumped to 5-star, so I included him.

Wonder if he’s done and we are the pick? Or just no more visits and think about which school, no more visits?

He said this way back in September. I don't think it has anything to do with us

Hank checked with Justin Eboigbe's camp after his visit to UT for the game vs Kentucky, and the feeling is that his Bama commitment is still solid, that nothing has changed.

Yeah. Bogle had been visiting Tennessee some and I think maybe he was pretty much ruling out UT in favor of nearby Miami. I don't think Bama was pushing hard for him at that time.
Bogle's mom and sister have been wanting him to stay close to home. Hopefully, we were able to overcome that on their Bama OV.

Justin Eboigbe', definitely want to keep him!! Gonna be a good one. Have you heard any nuggets on Carter?
Posted on 11/12/18 at 7:00 pm to bloodtide 39
Yeah, I hope we hang on to Eboigbe. I think we will. It'd be a huge mistake to go elsewhere, with our three starters heading to the NFL and Dwight leaving too. Eboigbe is an early enrollee too, which will give him a leg up on incoming DLs who aren't. Cochran and Kugliowski are the best S&C and DL coaches in CFB. No other school can match what Bama offers for him.
Nothing on Carter yet. Tim Watts usually posts the latest nuggets on most of our top targets every Tuesday.

Bone's 10 thoughts:
1. Edge rushers-Bogle visit was great, we probably lead. Thibodeaux Saban still has home visit, but he is most likely staying on west coast Nola Smith aint flipping from Ga,
2. Jordon Battle had good visit, but stays with Ohio St
3. Deondrick Glass-Sanders has to say no before he could commit .
4. Staff thinks Kevin Harris is a Tim Williams type player
5.Chances of flipping Jeffery Carter are very good, Nathan Pickering are not
6. Staff considers JJ Evans one of the top players in the state next year
7.Inside LB- Ga leads for N. Dean but we are not out of it. We get To'oto'o. Shane Lee is solid.
8. Will take Keon Zipperer due to fear that Irv Smith probably leaving for NFL. stock rising
9. Real concern of Justin Eboigbe flipping to TN
10. Excited for Tyson Tulia rematch
