It's interesting that he thinks that, maybe he's been told? Sometimes guys stay another year when most thought they were gone

I see it now, but you weren't one of the people catching the vapors about Lia flipping over what was an obviously completely unrelated twitter post.

Battle just as good as Hill would be huge.

Jordan Battle doesn't have the phenomenal combine numbers Daxton Hill has, but he's a baller for sure. Hank just posted an interview article with Battle's father. They have visited Bama before -- on A-Day weekend and they're looking foward their Bama OV this weekend.

Saban has studied Battle's senior film showing how much he has progressed and really likes him a lot. Battle played safety at St. Thomas Aquinas in order to get all of their best DBs on the field, but he's also well suited to play CB.

Battle's dad said Saban being actively involved in coaching DBs is very appealing and that they do have concerns about Meyer. It sounds like the chances of flipping him are pretty good.

Itll be interesting to see how the DB class ends up. At first i wasnt high on C. Williams but just looked at his senior film and he looks a lot faster so i could see him staying at corner even though today i asked JAG and he believes he wont play outside corner. Says he plays where Carter plays. I think we end with Battle and Pola. Wooukd be great.

Space is tight as Dick's hatband, but I hope we can sign Battle and Pola-Gates both, along with Hellams, Williams and Turnage. They're all very good. Hellams is a safety all the way, but the other four can play CB or safety.

According to JAG Turnage is all safety. He just plays corner in high school to be on the other teams best player.

I've seen past articles and BOL mods say Bama was recruiting Turnage primarily as a safety, but also like his versatlility to play other DB spots as well as WR. It's interesting that 247 Sports and the Composite used to show his position as S but it's now CB.

Who is JAG?

Are we talking about Wandale or Keilan? I don't think that I made a Robinson prediction. I know that I mentioned that Keilan was having a great year up until his injury, and I would hate to see us pull his offer. You know "burn the bridge" with St. John's.

As for Wandale, I haven't posted anything about him or a prediction. Can you clarify?

I thought you said to expect a commitment from him soon after Wandale visits. Couldve been someone else.

I agree. I'd feel guilty as hell if he came back and had a bad injury. He's put in the work, so he needs to get that money while he can

Man we can stop hoping Quinnen stays, he is having one the best seasons pro football focus has ever graded and most mocks have him top 5 now. Something catastrophic would have to happen for him to stay. Maybe Davis stays on the slim chance he gets a second round grade but that is unlikely and even if he did he is still probably gone. We are good though and with Coach Kool here you are just going to have a bunch of break out stars next year.

Mathis and Ray are legit but i still hate to loose the whole damn line. At least our secondary will be very experienced and our LB core will be nasty

We'll lose Thompson in the secondary and Mack at Linebacker

I'm hoping we keep Thompson but if we don't, who takes his spot?
