Mississippi State commit Pickering will visit other schools (video in link)
quote:
SEMINARY, Miss. — Since June 21, Nathan Pickering has been committed to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The star defensive lineman has visited Starkville too many times to count and he describes the feeling there "like home", but he is still going to visit other schools.
An official visit to Florida has already been scheduled. Other schools outside of Mississippi State that he plans to visit officially are Georgia and LSU with the fifth still to be determined.
Pickering breaks down his commitment to the in-state school, how they are recruiting him, why he is taking official visits, when he plans to sign his letter of intent and more in this interview.

Wandale Robinson sets commitment date
quote:
Alabama 4-Star wide receiver target, Wandale Robinson, has set his commitment date.
He will make his decision on Nov. 1. Robinson is listed on most recruiting sites as an all-purpose back, but the Tide has plans to use him in a similar role to Josh Jacobs, Jaylen Waddle, and to former Alabama running back, Kenyan Drake.
He took an official visit to Alabama on Sept. 21-23 and visited Ohio State the following weekend. The Tide has gotten Robinson on campus two times and a span of three months and has expressed they would love to land him. A commitment from him will give the Tide 22 commits in their 2019 recruiting class. He would be their fourth offensive skill player commit that is not a quarterback.
The Tide would be getting an all around player in Robinson if they could snatch him out of Kentucky. He can make plays in every aspect of the game, including on defense and on special teams.

Kayvon Thibodeaux, nation's No. 1 prospect, set for Oregon Ducks official visit
quote:
The Oregon Ducks football program has a 21-man 2019 recruiting class that currently ranks among the nation's best.
But Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff would love to add an unquestionable headliner to its collection of talent, and will have a chance next weekend.
On Sunday, 247Sports five-star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect, solidified his previous plans to take an official visit to Oregon next weekend with a tweet.
The 6-foot-5, 239-pound defensive end, out of Oaks Christian High School (Thousand Oaks, California), has long considered the Ducks a serious contender.
This fall, he has taken official visits to Alabama, Florida and Florida State.
But with the Oregon trip looming, the Ducks' chances to land Thibodeaux may intensify next week.
Oregon has four defensive line prospects already committed in the class of 2019 in defensive end/outside linebackers Treven Ma'ae and Isaac Townsend and defensive tackles Sua'ava Poti and Keyon Ware-Hudson.
A commitment from Thibodeaux would give Oregon its first five-star pledge since defensive end Canton Kaumatule in the class of 2015.
But first, they must impress him with a strong official visit.

Bama doesn't beat Ohio St much for recruits head to head.

I really like Wandale, awesome! But with Waddle and Fordand Bolden. I went back and watch Pickens again on the 7 on 7 and some of his senior highlights . If this guy can get through with grades he’s exactly the one I would push for . Plus the aubies lose him. But if we end up with Wandale I won’t be upset. Pickens snags everything and he’s Quicker with his cuts at this level . He’s fast enough with that 4.7 lol

The ESPN 300 welcomes two new 2019 five-star prospects
quote:
The senior season for Class of 2019 recruits has reached the midway point. That means there is plenty of tape and game action to evaluate as the class continues to take shape. Two new five-stars, a top running back and a number of big movers in the ESPN 300 have emerged through that process.
New to five-star status are wide receiver Jadon Haselwood (Cedar Grove/Ellenwood, Georgia) and Michigan safety commit Daxton Hill (Booker T. Washington/Tulsa, Oklahome). Former Georgia verbal Haselwood didn't move from his No. 12 ranking overall, but his stellar play this season graded out to a bump to five-star status. A big target, he possesses elite quickness, blends that with a physical style of play and can be a handful to contain. Haselwood and Hill's bumps mean there are currently 13 five-star prospects in the class, with a few others knocking on the door.
Georgia commit John Emery out of Louisiana has ascended to the top running back spot, moving up to No. 14 from 20. Emery is the highest-rated four-star prospect in the class.
Other big movers in the October ESPN 300 update include versatile California playmaker Bru McCoy, who shoots up 44 spots to No. 32 overall. McCoy has been dominant this season and could project to wide receiver or outside linebacker at the next level.
Arizona State quarterback commit Joey Yellen jumps 78 spots to No. 48 from 126. The 6-foot-3, 223-pound, right-handed signal-caller is posting a marvelous senior campaign, leading the state of California in passing yards and tossing 20 touchdowns to just one interception.
Alabama defensive end commit Justin Eboigbe moves into the top 75, checking in at No. 73 after ascending 50 spots. The explosive 6-foot-5, 263-pound Peach State product might have the highest upside of the seven ESPN 300 defensive linemen committed to the defending national champions.
Joining Eboigbe as a big mover at the defensive end position is Jaren Handy. The Auburn commit from the Magnolia State catapults 73 spots to No. 134 overall.
The biggest move, however, is running back Zach Charbonnet. The Michigan commit out of Southern California jumps from four-star outside the ESPN 300 to No. 105 overall. Charbonnet is a big back with great feet, a physical running style and good ball skills, and he has the tools to be a well-rounded player. Coaches and teammates also are quick to point out his intangibles, indicating that he is a talented prospect who works to maximize his abilities.
Another prospect who was outside the ESPN 300 but jumps inside the top 200 overall is Florida State offensive tackle verbal Charles Cross out of Mississippi. Cross is a flexible and lengthy tackle prospect with a high ceiling for development in the trenches.

How do they rate prospects. Just based off of camp performance do you guys think Quick should be four?

The worst part about them is how the pretend to be humble or easy going... then they turn to Notre Dame level arrogance when they win.
I will never forget the pre-game shite from that first playoff match. Almost as bad as the arrogance they displayed after they got lucky Landon Collins got injured and won.
Damn you Depreist. Damn. You.
