That’s one my all time favorite Dennis meltdowns along with this one:

So Bone is hinting at another surprise commit on the DL. Pretty soon we might be full and still be saying we are getting our favorites.

I'd guess either Ika (not really a surprise) or Sorrells is who he's referring to.

yes I really don't see us hitting all the 5 stars that alot of posters here were dreaming about. I say we get 3-4 and that's fine with me

Just posted some Friday recruiting notes on BamaInsider.com which includes quotes from five-star OL Darnel Wright about his trip to #Alabama a few weeks ago, the latest on Kaho, and a possible DL commitment coming soon (may not be who you think).

Do the inside "sauces" even know the board?

That's who I was thinking about as well. I'm not in love with his film, but if Coach Kool wants him I'm all on board.

His film doesn't blow me away either. He can obviously move well for his size, though. Needs some instruction on how to use his hands, and to be taught a few moves.

LINK ]Fourteen times you can watch Tide targets and commits on TV this fall (BamaOnLine)

quote:

In recent years, high school football has become more easily accessible to watch on Fridays and Saturdays.

This upcoming season more than ever that appears to be the case once again. And fortunately for Alabama fans, many of the games televised or live streamed this season will feature Crimson Tide targets.

From August to November there is a game almost every week that features an Alabama commitment or top target in the 2019, ’20 and ’21 classes.

Whether it’s on ESPN or live-streamed on the internet, fans will have the opportunity to see one of their commitments or targets compete beyond just their highlight reel or Hudl tape.

Alabama currently sits with the No. 1 class in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting rankings. Many of the top-rated commitments that make up the class, as well as uncommitted prospects that could supplement the Tide’s standing atop the rankings will be featured throughout the upcoming season.

Take a look at the games featuring Tide targets and commits this fall.

If welcome Serrels especially if we aren't signing the kid from Georgia that's committed to us. Can't afford to wait on anyone this year and be left with nothing. Should still be able to take Ika and Sospher imo.

I gets behindeder the more that gets posted and with the volume of late, I am way behindeder and if you listen to my wife I am the biggest behindeder she has ever seen

If Sorrells takes the place of Cheney that'll be 5 DL commits, 21 total commits. Kaho uses the 2018 class spot we'd counted on using for a 2019 class early enrollee, dropping the max we expect to take from 28 to 27. 27 - 21 = 6 spots left. I doubt there'll be room now to take 7 DLs.

6 spots left:
Trey Sanders
Clay Webb
Evan Neal or Darnell Wright
Ish Sopsher or Ika or Tuitele
Dean or To'oto'o or Thibodeaux
Daxton Hill

That doesn't even include another WR like Wandale Robinson or Jameson Williams.

Most were saying 28 before Kaho. With his addition I would assume 27.

Drop Cheney and add:

1. RB Trey Sanders
2. OL Clay Webb
3. OT Evan Neal or OT Darnell Wright
4. DT Ishmael Sopsher
5. NT Siaki Ika or DT Jaquaze Sorrels or DT Faatui Tuitele
6. ILB Nakobe Dean or ILB Henry To’oto’o or LB Mohamoud Diabate
7. S Daxton Hill

Grayshirt or blueshirt one of the OL (maybe Bowles) if Thibodeaux wants in.

With Kaho taking a spot, we only have 25 signing spots for the 2019 class. Even if Tyson's family pays his way for the fall semester, 1 greyshirt is already needed to take 27. So, if we land the 7 you listed, then a 2nd or 3rd grayshirt will be needed to take Thibodeax too. Maybe Reichard and/or Dalcourt are potential grayshirts.

ETA: Remember, grayshirts (and the potential delay tactic with Tyson) count against the 25 signings limit for the 2020 class. I doubt Bama wants to do a lot of that.

Thanks for the excellent presentation. (I am old and need pictures) ... so sad that Bama has to keep their class to that used by others... Seems with the more NC's you win you should get extra counters. at least for the next year.
