Alabama has 20 commitments in its 2019 class, good for the top spot in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.
The Crimson Tide obtained the No. 1 class at the beginning of May and has yet to relinquish its position atop the college football recruiting world.
Bama's seven year run atop the recruiting rankings was snapped in 2018 with the Tide finishing No. 6 in the country.
The beginning of a new streak at No. 1 looks set to kickoff in 2019 with several of Alabama's remaining targets on the board graded in the 5-star range.
Here, BamaOnLine asks you, the fan, who of the remaining Tide targets you would most like to see in Alabama's 2019 class.
The options:

LINK ]Nakobe Dean, 5-star ILB, Horn Lake, MS
Inside linebacker is arguably the biggest need for Alabama. The Tide is thin at the position and will be even thinner going forward if junior linebacker Mack Wilson declares for the NFL Draft after this upcoming season. The Tide already has one inside 'backer committed in Shane Lee. Dean has been a top target of the staff's for quite some time. The nation's No. 1 inside linebacker already took an official visit to Tuscaloosa last month as well as a couple of unofficial trips over the course of this past spring and summer. Alabama is battling programs like Georgia and Texas A&M to land the elite defender.

LINK ]Daxton Hill, 5-star S, Tulsa, OK
The nation's No. 1 defensive back is about as sure thing of a prospect as a program could hope for. The Oklahoma native is considering several schools, but as of late Alabama and Michigan look to be separating themselves from the pack. Hill, like Dean, took an official visit to Tuscaloosa last month. A decision could come later this summer, if not early in the season.

LINK ]Darnell Wright, 5* OT, Huntington, WV
Alabama has the opportunity to sign Nick Saban's best-ever offensive line class at Alabama. Wright, the No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation, would go a long way in pursuit of that feat. The West Virginia native visited Tuscaloosa earlier this year for A-Day, and will return this upcoming weekend for the Champions Cookout, his second Champions Cookout of his recruitment. The 5-star lineman is considering a number of programs, but Alabama and Tennessee look to be leading the charge.

LINK ]Clay Webb, 5-star OC, Oxford, AL
The nation's No. 1 center and the state of Alabama's top player, most would be surprised if Webb went anywhere else not named Alabama, but the 5-star lineman is considering all of his options. Two schools that have kept his recruitment interesting are Auburn, the program that offered first and he's visited often, and Georgia, a program he has family ties to. Webb has said that relationships will go a long way in his decision and that's what he has at Alabama with UA commit and fellow in-state lineman Pierce Quick and Alabama offensive line coach Brent Key.

LINK ]Trey Sanders, 5-star RB, Bradenton, FL
The one-time Alabama commit backed off his pledge to the Tide last January but continued listening to the staff's pitch. That has seemingly paid off for Alabama considering it's the Tide that's now trending once again in Sanders' recruitment over Florida and Miami, among others. The nation's top-rated ball carrier is expected back at Alabama this weekend. After not signing an elite level running back in 2018, Sanders would be a welcomed addition to the running back corps.

LINK ]Kayvon Thibodeaux, 5-star WDE, Thousand Oaks, CA
The nation's No. 1 player has visited Tuscaloosa twice this year, both multi-day stays. He will return for an official visit this fall, likely for the Iron Bowl, before making a final decision. Thibodeaux have raved about the Tide in the past as things look to be trending up with the elite edge rusher. Thibodeaux is considering others like Florida, Florida State, Oregon and USC, so there's still a ways to go in this one.

LINK ]Ishmael Sopsher, 5-star DT, Amite, LA
The 5-star defensive tackle originally didn't include Alabama in his top 12 last fall, but that's in the past as both the Tide and LSU look to be duking it out with a few others to land the nation's top defensive tackle. Sopsher is releasing a top five on July 30 and will make a decision in February.

(Select OTHER for Sopsher)
Note: The great thing is Bama's chances of landing all six are pretty dang good.

There is some concern with Michigan for Daxton, according to TI. Bama sources still confident, but some Oklahoma/Michigan sources say they've made a huge push due to academics.

FWIW, TI hasn't heard anything to convince him to change his mind about Bama being in the driver's seat yet. But just something to keep an eye on.

Dax Hill's decision: Do I pass on being coached during practice every day by a DBs guru who's also the GOAT CFB HC, during the GOAT dynasty at the GOAT CFB program with every recruiting class winning at least one natty, that's also the best at developing 1st-round NFL draft picks, especially DBs, to instead go play in cold arse weather competing for 3rd place in the B1G East Division every year?

Saint Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter College Prep receiver Jameson Williams will take an official visit to Alabama for the Missouri game in October.

That’s a semi small list for current targets. Wish Sanders, Hill and Sopsher were gonna be there. Guess the upside is that our staff can put the full court press on Wright.
Webb not coming in?

On a side note, I know we are only taking a small WR class, but we really don’t seem to be in the with any of the 5-stars this year. After Julio, Coop and Ridley, seems we’d be in it for most of the top guys. Perhaps this WR class is just a bit weak as well.

Some dude summarized it for us on BOL:
quote:
He talks Clay Webb some but some other questions asked here was his answers:
Most Impressive at the opening? Evan Neal. Said he dominated at the camp, probably the best one there that week and he is recruiting him.
Who he recruited the most at the opening? Clay Webb and Darnell Wright because he was around those two guys the most since they were in his group.
A guy he was recruiting hard not in his position group? Nakobe Dean. He tried any free time they had to get around him and build a relationship exchange numbers with him. Said he pounded in his head that Alabama is the best place for him and gave him reasons why and how much the class wanted him to be apart of it.
Said the Bama commits got together at the opening and discussed who they were all going to recruit while there and would send messages in a group chat on which players were interested in Bama so they could all try and talk to them.
Said the sleeper recruiter for Bama is King Mwikuta and Brandon Turnage. They recruit hard behind the scene but don't show it off on social media.
On the Second Champions cookout: Said he likes the second cookout idea and will attend because most guys want to commit before their senior season starts and most recruits want to commit while on campus. Said a huge possibility for a commitment this week and laughs about it so he knows something is going to happen.
Talks about what goes on at the cookouts when its not football related. He said some coaches play hacky sack which I didn't know people still played that.
