MOHAMOUD DIABATE
Mohamoud Diabate is a long and lean pass rusher who can stress the edge of an offensive line with his hand in the ground or from a stand up position. His 6-foot-4 frame and sheer athleticism allows him to get to the passer quicker than most, with the length and range to help make up for a lack of polish early in his prep career. Diabate plays with a high motor and runs very well for his size, allowing him to make plays all over the field. With better leverage and added bulk to his frame before the next level, he can be a force fairly early in his college career. -- John Garcia, Jr.

DEMARCCO HELLAMS
Hellams is a jewel in the 2019 class. He is a play-maker who gets off the line of scrimmage well, gets into and out of his breaks quickly, locates the ball and has good hands. Hellams' frame is such he can be a 200-pound receiver as he gets older. He can line up wide and beat a defensive back down the field, and he can catch the ball over the middle. He has the ability to separate. -- Brian Dohn

NICK CROSS
Cross has very good size and he plays a physical style more in the role of a strong safety, but he ha the speed and burst to cover to the sideline so he could fit the free safety role. His pre-snap reads suggest he does a lot of film work as he shifts just before the play begins. In the running game, Scott drives well toward the ball carrier, has good body control and can form tackle well. There are times he likes to lead with his shoulder and go for the big hit. He can stop and start well and is a good open field tackler. In the passing game, he often keeps his eyes in the backfield and sometimes drifts to the middle of the field, but his footwork is good and he can flip his hips to turn and run. He has the speed to cover down the field but he needs to work on his backpedal technique. He has a high ceiling. -- Brian Dohn

So there weren't as many evaluations as I was hoping.
However, by clicking on all of the those players' profiles I found a lot of relevant content from other teams' perspectives. I'll post what I found. It may take awhile.

-With little more than 24 hours to go with Demetris Robertson there is still not much to report. He could end up anywhere. Truly one have no clue where he will go. I do know that initially there was a lot of UGA buzz behind the scenes but he has shut down any leaks or any talk really around his decision. He will post his decision at 1pm on Saturday. We will have coverage of this decision regardless. See what happens.

Looking at DB recruiting it is strange to see very good players at CB position leave the state of Georgia, but how UGA is recruiting South Florida right now at the position it is keeping things good for the Dawgs. Really ashame that Divaad Wilson got hurt this spring. He is going to be a player for UGA. Tyrique Stevenson is another big target in this class in South Florida. I think UGA is going to be in this all the way until the end, like Tyson Campbell.. Stevenson is a very good player and I think he will be special on next level too.

The Mississippi State 247 site ranked the best 19 prospects in the state for 2019 a few weeks ago. I'll post the ones relevant to us over the next several posts.
quote:
No. 2 DL Nathan Pickering of Seminary High School
Pickering has steadily climbed up the 247Sports rankings since February and is currently the No. 18 overall prospect via 247Sports. The Mississippi State commit does play on offense (tight end, blocking back) at times but he has earned his ranking based on his play on the defensive line.
The 247Sports four-star prospect attracted tons of SEC and Power 5 offers, and that includes several SEC powerhouses. His strength and first step on the defensive line is often overwhelming at times for opposing offensive linemen.

quote:
No. 3 LB Nakobe Dean of Horn Lake High School
The Magnolia State has produced its share of hard-hitting and athletic linebackers in the past decade or so. And this 247Composite five-star is next in line to be one of the great ones at the next level.
Dean is expected to be a middle linebacker in college and he has many SEC programs lined up to give him that opportunity.

quote:
No. 4 RB Jerrion Ealy of Jackson Prep
Ealy has been a household name in the state for the past two seasons and for different reasons. The Ole Miss commitment is also considered one of the nation's top baseball prospects and he wants to play football and baseball at the next level.
Ealy will likely be an early-round selection in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft, which could lead Ealy to making another decision about his future. His role in college is expected to be either at running back or slot receiver, or a mixture of both.

quote:
No. 5 DL Byron Young of West Jones High School
Only time will tell but this year's in-state grouping of defensive linemen could end up being one for the ages. And Young has possibly made the biggest jump from a talent standpoint when comparing all of them.
Naturally, Young has reeled in his share of top-level SEC offers and he committed to Alabama in early July. His showing this spring exhibited a much more aggressive player along with simply increasing his strength at the point of attack.

quote:
No. 6 DB Brandon Turnage of Lafayette County High School
The Alabama commit and 247Sports four-star prospect is another versatile athlete in the state and his future will likely be in an SEC secondary.
Turnage missed all but one game of his senior season due to a foot injury, which was suffered in Lafayette County's season opener. He will continue to play at quarterback and receiver on offense this fall along with his secondary duties for the Commodores.

WATCH: Daxton Hill Opening Highlights
quote:
Embedded above are highlights of 2019 five-star safety Daxton Hill from The Opening last weekend in Dallas.
Hill, who is arguably the top remaining target on Michigan's recruiting board regardless of position, solidified his status as the top safety prospect in the country with a strong performance against some of the nation's best.
The five-star currently plans to officially visit Michigan in September and recently spoke to 247Sports about the Wolverines.
"Just the way they treat me, cause I am far away they always stay in contact with me,” Hill told TMI's Josh Newkirk. “That really puts in my head that they really want me. Just being up there they showed me home, so it’s always good being up there. I really didn’t get a chance to see their living quarters. I want a chance to see their dorms and all that. And academics, I really didn’t get a chance to (check them out). And basically just see the coaches again and have a good time."
The Tulsa (OK) native is currently ranked 8th overall in the 2019 class according to 247Sports, good for tops in the state for the class and tops at his position in the country. The in-state Oklahoma Sooners currently lead his 247Sports Crystal Ball with Oklahoma State and Alabama also holding predictions at this juncture.

Best Bets To Join Miami’s 2019 Recruiting Class
Warning. There is a lot of homerism present in this article.

With 16 commitments and anywhere from six to nine spots remaining in UM's 2019 class, there is still plenty of work to be done on the recruiting trail for the Miami coaching staff.
Who are the best bets to fill the remaining needs by position? We look to answer that question in this article.

RUNNING BACK
Spots To Fill: One
Best Bet: Kenny McIntosh
The Reason Why: The Hurricanes already have Marcus Crowley in the class and would like to add another back. McIntosh is very familiar with the UM program because his older brother, RJ, starred at defensive tackle for the Hurricanes during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Miami is considered the team to beat and the Hurricanes are battling Oklahoma.
Others of Note: Trey Sanders and John Emery.

TIGHT END
Spots To Fill: One
Best Bet: Keon Zipperer
The Reason Why: Miami already has Larry Hodges committed and UM would like to add another tight end in the class. Zipperer is the top tight end prospect in the state of Florida and the Hurricanes have made him a top priority. He is taking his time with his recruitment as Florida and Alabama also are making him a priority. At this stage, Miami appears to be the team to beat.
Others of Note: Jalen Wydermyer

OFFENSIVE LINE
Spots To Fill: Two tackles
Best Bet: Evan Neal
The Reason Why: The Hurricanes already have a good offensive tackle prospect committed in the class in Michael Tarquin, but Miami needs to add more players at that position. Neal is the only top level tackle target that isn’t committed that Miami has been able to get on campus this offseason. Neal visited UM in June. The Hurricanes will be in for a big time recruiting battle for Neal, who is also being chased by Alabama and Florida State. Neal could end this recruiting cycle as the best offensive tackle recruit in the country. Miami has struggled to attract top level offensive tackle talent in re ent years and Neal is UM’s best shot at landing an elite offensive tackle in 2019.
Others of Note: Darnell Wright, Stacey Wilkins, William Putnam, Jakai Moore, Dontae Lucas (FSU Commit), and Kardell Thomas (LSU Commit)
They may get Evan Neal, but they aren't even close to landing Wright or Thomas.
