According to Austin Price, Tualia left Knoxville last night to return to Tuscaloosa to help peer recruit for Bama.

Like I said, him visiting didn't mean anything.

We need twice the allowed number of spots for this cycle -- 50 total.

Gonna several gray and blue shirts this cycle, I have a feeling. Too many studs, not enough spots.

It's pretty rare for a highly rated and sought after player to take a blueshirt. Grayshirt is even more rare. Kamaar Bell is one who may be willing to blueshirt. And don't forget, blue and greyshirts will count against 2020's 25 initial counters limit. And blueshirts will have to fit under the 85 total counters limit for 2019. I don't expect more than 1 or 2 shirts. Bama will be passing on some talented players in this cycle -- just not enough room. It's a great problem to have. MUCH better than the problems we had in the 2018 cycle.

Here’s a good (long) read about 2022 OT Kiyaunta Goodwin

His recruiting is going to be a wild ride. He already has handlers.

You all should go back one page and check out the link to Wandale Robinson's highlights that TRich linked. He's small and doesn't play against the best competition (putting it mildly), but that's some absurd video game-like highlights. Looks like a slightly smaller Waddle/David Palmer. Not far from Noel Devine territory.

Reminds me of Josh Jacobs. I hate that Ohio St. has already offered him.

4-star WR John Metchie breaks down Bama OV (BOL-VIP, Hank South)

quote:

“If I committed to Bama, the reason I'd choose them would be the mentality of the players and the coaches; it’s the kind of mentality I have. It’s a place you go to get better, where they push you to be the best player you can be.”

247 National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn also CBd John Metchie to Bama after his interview:

Alabama sits at top of Metchie's list after visit (247-VIP, Brian Dohn)
quote:

"Alabama sits at the top of my list because of the players, the opportunities and the relationships. The players stood out to me. It was their attitudes towards getting better and working hard."

4-star WR/DB John Metchie 6-0/195 (MD) hudl

ETA: Metchie picked up a 5th CB to Bama from an OSU mod.

Gattis is absolutely killing it on the recruiting trail. He'll also have an abundance of WR riches to work with this year. Will also earn his pay managing some egos.

Push back. You're the one who stepped forward and stayed longer last time. They should send someone else back who didn't volunteer to stay longer like you did.

4* TE Jahleel Billingsley from Chicago did make it for his OV this weekend.

His father said before the visit that he’s down to Alabama, Florida and Penn State. UF is the heavy CB favorite.

Jaren Handy said yesterday that he will be committing soon. Just speculating but I highly doubt it’ll be us with higher priority prospects on the board.

Stay safe bro. Prayers for you and yours.

Is it strange that you'd be asked to go back so soon after return, or does that happen often?
