Hellams CBs were 100% (7) for Clemson, from Wiltfong, Clemson mods and DMV area mods. He'd been leaning Bama since his earlier visit, and they obviously had no clue that he was.

Banks didn't have a green light to commit to Bama, so he was likely to grab a spot at ATM or LSU. LSU fans can talk legit shite to Aggies about Banks, but I doubt he'd have gotten a spot in Bama's class anytime soon or later. I'm not trashing Banks; he has very good upside and might become a good SEC CB.

IMO we tend to have more commits that have CB predictions that are way off more than any other school. It feels like there is at least a few guys every year like that, especially from out of state. While I am highly skeptical in general (see my confidence on Sospher and Dean), I trust our insiders way more than the CB predictions. A lot of guys try to predict early to get more points and others just pull CBs out of the sky. Add to that the fact a lot of recruits get blown away by Bama after visiting and switch up fast, or are trying to throw people off, or are under so much pressure to stay home (or just away from us) it makes Bama commits hard to predict if you aren't dialed in some how in Tuscaloosa.

The National Championshipless Leon Brown. One of only two players Saban recruited, along with Gehrig Dieter, to never win the big one. He is memorialized there so we will never forget his sacrifice. I put him there after remaster took exception to the claim that every Alabama player recruited by Saban had won a Natty. I think that all is actually in this thread along with a nice freak out about last year's recruiting class.

I like the new remaster too, however everything is going well at the moment. Check his mood if we miss on some Dline or inside linebacker recruits.

Nakobe Dean
Nakobe Dean has emerged as the No. 1 linebacker in the country and is knocking on the door of five-star status. The only issue? He’s not that long. However, Roquan Smith was the same way and he turned out to be pretty good. He is very explosive.

He’s not Leonard Fournette or Derrius Guice, but he’s a very good one and keeps the tradition going.
