I really think Smith could end up being the best DB we signed last year, Surtain included.

Looking a few years down the road, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're exactly right. What a DB class!

LINK ]Tide LB target Kane Patterson nearing decision (BamaOnLine-VIP)

4-star ILB Kane Patterson 6-2/225 (TN) hudl

Patterson visited UA Sat, will visit Ohio State Wed and UA again for the Champions Cookout June 22. It was his mom's 1st visit to UA and his 3rd this year. He said Bama likes him at ILB, he feels he's a priority but not being pushed to commit. Golding was at a camp in FL, but Patterson spent time with Enos, Lupoi and Saban. He told them he plans to decide and commit in late July or early August. “They said to just enjoy the rest of my summer visits because I’m getting closer to the end now. Do what I feel is right for me.”

Get some nuggets here, get them while there hot..
Darnell Wright-Bama is leading for him, I thought he would have committed on aday but he chose to stay silent.
Dax Hill-Bama is right there with Oklahoma, Oklahoma has the buzz but bama likes where they stand with a Ov coming up. Don’t be surprised if he commits to Alabama this summer, or after this visit.
Nakobe Dean-The Alabama staff isn’t worried about UGA right now, I don’t really understand why but they think Dean is there’s to lose. I do think UGA is a major threat here. Pete Golding is leading the charge but Pannuzio Is also heavily recruiting him for bama.
Akeem Dent-I keep hearing good things on the bama side of this, he will visit sometime this month and as of right now, the plan is for the champions cookout.
Jameson Willaims-Bama is starting to prioize him at WR. They want him to camp but his offer is committable right now.
Christian Harris-Heavy bama lean, he’ll commit likely by mid July.
Nathan Pickering-All over the place, silently committed to the staff a while back. Staff doesn’t think much of it.
Ishmael Sopsher-Even tho, the media believes LSU is the heavy favorite; bama is his leader right now. Sam P is a big factor in this.
Also as you know Jobe qualified and is enrolled. Jordan Davis will arrive Monday and Baremore doesn’t graduate till mid June, he’ll arrive a couple days after that.

LINK ]Washington Visit Impresses Four-Star Wideout (247Sports-Washington)

quote:

Washington is working to secure a top-notch receiver class for the third straight year and yesterday, one of their top targets, Calabasas (Ca.) WR Mycah Pittman was on campus for the first time and he said the visit to Montlake exceeded his expectations.

"It was my first time there so I really didn't know what to expect, but it was great visit, I had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time with the coaches," Pittman told Dawgman.com after returning home from his trip. "It's beautiful up there and their facilities were great.

"I got to spend a lot of time with coach (Bush) Hamdan and coach (Chris) Petersen and then I also met with coach (Matt) Lubick. It was really great to just sit down and talk with all of them honestly."

One of the "lowlights" of the visit was being taken to the woodshed by Hamdan during their ping-pong game. "He smacked me," Pittman said with a laugh. "He loves to compete and he didn't take it easy on me because I was a recruit.

"It was fun just to get a feel for things up there and get to know the coaches a little better as people, not just the recruiting side of things.

"Coach Lubick, when we got down to talking football, he said one of the biggest things he likes about me is my versatility because he feels I can play inside or outside. Some guys, they don't fit well into multiple roles, but he feels like I fit in well no matter where they play me.

"That's something I take pride in -- being able to play anywhere -- because I like to be used in different ways and make sure that I am helping my team any way that I can."

With his first visit to Seattle out of the way, Pittman will take a couple of weeks off before heading back up for an official visit on June 21st.

"I'm looking forward to it," Pittman said. "I don't have any other visits set up for during the summer, but I may try to squeeze in one more, I'm not really sure right now though."

His other planned official visits include Alabama (September 22nd), Florida (October 6th) and Oregon (October 13th).

"Honestly, I am not sure when I will decide," Pittman acknowledged. "I might decide before my senior season, there's a chance I could know before the start of the season, but if not, I have those other trips ready to take and then I may decide later in the process. I'm not really sure right now when I will decide, but I'm open to making a decision whenever I know where I want to go."

Pittman is a four-star prospect and ranked as the 11th-best wideout in the country and 60th-best prospect overall in the 247 Composite.

30 days so far. It's campaign time over here so they have all of these trucks rolling around blaring music with old Korean ladies dancing to it.

KAIIR ELAM - RIVALS 3 STRIPE CAMP MIAMI
quote:

Elam looks like a safety or even an athlete who could grow into an athletic linebacker, but he showed in Miami that he can lock talented wide receivers down. He loves to mix it up physically and he can open up his hips and run with wideouts as well in coverage.

Coaches from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and many other top programs sent coaches to check on Elam during the evaluation period. Florida is working hard to make him a Gator, Miami wants to keep him in south Florida and Georgia is a school he has his eye on outside the Sunshine State.

WOODI WASHINGTON - RIVALS 3 STRIPE CAMP NASHVILLE
quote:

Washington is a true competitor. He loves to mix it up, he takes all the reps he can get and he likes to go against the best. With his size, length and quickness, he has emerged as one of the top overall defensive backs in the 2019 class.

He holds over 30 offers and some of the schools that have his attention are Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma. He said the Irish will receive an official visit soon. He is working on the date.

What's crazy is they all play the same damn song. It's annoying as frick because it's a catchy tune so I find myself humming it throughout the day even though I don't know what the hell they are saying.

Nope, but Taulia was ranked 8th by Elite 11 (Bo Nix was 2nd) and has apparently done really well today in 7 on 7.
