I've seen it.

Sometimes I go to Waffle House down that way for lunch.

Chicken and eggs with hashbrowns scattered, smothered, covered, diced, capped and topped. No toast.

LINK ]How Bama's 2019 class stacks up against SEC (BamaOnLine)
quote:

Alabama's 2019 class ranks No. 1 in the nation, so of course it also ranks No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference, per the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

2019 SEC Football Team Rankings

With that being said, how does the rest of the conference stack up against the Crimson Tide as teams bring in talent to try and topple the dominance the Crimson Tide has established upon the conference?

Here, we breakdown where the rest of the SEC stacks up in the ranking after 247Sports updated its Top247 Rankings last week for the final time in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

"Since the end of the season, the 247Sports recruiting team has extensively reviewed both senior season video and production along with live evaluations at the All-American Bowl, Under Armour All-America Game and Polynesian Bowl," 247Sports national analyst Charles Power wrote last week.

"Senior seasons and all-star game showings are pivotal evaluation tools as they provide us with the most up-to-date snapshot of a prospect, sometimes just days or weeks before their enrollment in college. This final release will remain unchanged, making attention to detail paramount."

The rankings outside the Top247 will continuously be updated until Feb. 6, so overall order could change via rankings adjustments and of course National Signing Day additions. But here's where things stand now.

247Sports' Kipp Adams and Keith Neibuhr contributed to this report

VANDERBILT

Class size: 21 signees, 1 commits

Top247 recruits: 0

Class Ranking: 52 overall; 14 SEC

This class is not quite as strong on the surface as Derek Mason's 2018 haul, but running back Keyon Brooks is one to watch. He racked up 3,659 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns in his prep career, leading Cobb County (Ga.) in both categories as a junior. He had 331 rushing yards, 162 receiving yards, and five touchdowns - in one game - his senior season. The rest of the SEC could be looking back and regretting not giving him a closer look.

MISSOURI

Class size: 19 signees, 3 commits

Top247 recruits: 0

Class Ranking: 34 overall; 13 SEC

For three years in a row, Missouri signed the nation's No. 43 class. This cycle the Tigers are inside the top 40, with its highest average per recruit since 2014. Beating out SEC opponents for safety Jalani Williams was a major recruiting win for Mizzou, as was fending off Oklahoma for offensive tackle Jack Buford. Keep an eye on Peach State linebacker Jamie Pettway.

KENTUCKY

Class size: 21 signees, 2 commits

Top247 recruits: 0

Class Ranking: 32 overall; 12 SEC

Kentucky has hovered around the top 40 for the past four classes and is on pace to do so once again. The promising aspect for a Wildcats' team that won 10 games in 2018 is that the average rating per recruit has gone up for the third cycle in a row. The Wildcats did not land any Top 247 prospects during the Early Signing Period, but went heavy on junior college players, with three juco signees and two juco commitments. Kentucky also went heavy into the state of Georgia, hoping to unearth a Peach State sleeper or two in linebacker Tra Wilkins, running back Travis Tisdale, linebacker KD McDaniel, and athlete Taj Dodson.

OLE MISS

Class size: 25 signees, 3 commits

Top247 recruits: 2

Class Ranking: 25 overall; 11 SEC

The Rebels have only five 4-stars in the 247Sports Composite, putting them in the bottom half of the league. The 2019 class headliner is in-state receiver Dannis Jackson, a terrific prospect who checks in at 137 overall in the Top247 — good for ninth best in the state of Mississippi. Offensive tackle Nick Broeker of Illinois is the only other member of the Top247 on the commit list. Ole Miss. The top unsigned commit is 4-star receiver Jonathan Mingo.

MISSISSIPPI STATE

Class size: 14 signees, 6 commits

Top247 recruits: 3

Class Ranking: 23 overall; 10 SEC

The Bulldogs have some serious talent at the top of the class, starting with 5-star offensive tackle Charles Cross, who at one time was committed to FSU. He’s the No. 8 overall recruit in the 247Sports rankings. He’s also an early enrollee. Defensive end commit Nathan Pickering checks in at No. 64 overall. The final member of the Top247 on the MSU commit list is defensive end De'Monte Russell. Three-star running back Lee Witherspoon of Alabama may be a sleeper to watch in this class.

ARKANSAS

Class size: 21 signees, 5 commits

Top247 recruits: 4

Class Ranking: 22 overall; 9 SEC

Arkansas has put together a nice class with Year 1 of the Chad Morris era in the books. The Razorbacks haven’t finished in the Top 25 of the recruiting rankings since 2016. Another important note is Morris and company are keeping the state’s top talent home for the most part with commitments from the nation’s No. 4 tight end in Little Rock product Hudson Henry and Top247 edge linebacker Zach Williams. The Hawgs have also turned to the junior college ranks a good bit to try and field players that can contribute immediately to rebound from a 2-10 season.

SOUTH CAROLINA

Class size: 19 signees, 3 commits

Top247 recruits: 4

Class Ranking: 21 overall; 8 SEC

The Gamecocks have another top 25 class, headlined by five-star defensive tackle Zacch Pickens. South Carolina beat out in-state rival Clemson as well as Georgia to land Pickens, the top prospect in the Palmetto State, and also beat Georgia for the No. 2 in-state prospect in cornerback Cameron Smith. South Carolina also landed its quarterback of the future in California signal-caller Ryan Hilinski and bolstered its defensive line even more with Joseph Anderson out of Tennessee.

Class size: 19 signees, 2 commits

Top247 recruits: 8

Class Ranking: 15 overall; 7 SEC

The recruiting ability of Jeremy Pruitt is certainly showing after finishing off his first season in Knoxville as head coach. Despite sitting outside the top 10 of the standings, the Vols have the chance to close strong next Wednesday with guys like 5-star offensive tackle Darnell Wright. Headlining the class already in place are 5-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris out of Georgia and one of the top athletes in the country in All-American Quavaris Crouch out of North Carolina.

AUBURN

Class size: 16 signees, 3 commits

Top247 recruits: 9

Class Ranking: 12 overall; 6 SEC

Auburn missed making the top 10 for the first time in the Gus Malzahn era as coach (2013-present) last year but could re-enter it when all is said and done for 2019. With six or seven spots left to fill, the Tigers have a chance to add a few more 4-stars. Right now, Auburn's average player rating is 91.41, which is sixth best in the country. The Tigers have three 5-stars in the industry generated 247Sports Composite -- quarterback Bo Nix, linebacker Owen Pappoe and receiver George Pickens. Pickens is the only one that didn't sign in December. The other two enrolled in January.

FLORIDA

Class size: 21 signees, 2 commits

Top247 recruits: 6

Class Ranking: 11 overall; 5 SEC

In its first cycle under Dan Mullen, Florida is knocking on the door of its first top 10 class in five years. The Gators signed Top247 prospects out of Florida, Georgia, California, and Alabama. Beating out USC for California Top 100 cornerback Chris Steele was a major win for the Gators. Florida also quietly landed a Top 100 linebacker out of Georgia in Tyron Hopper who fits the mold of what defensive coordinators want in today's era of playing nickel base defenses against pass-happy offenses.

LSU

Class size: 19 signees, 2 commits

Top247 recruits: 10

Class Ranking: 8 overall; 4 SEC

The Tigers have three 5-stars in the 247Sports rankings on their commit list, with cornerback Derek Stingley leading the way by coming in at No. 2 overall in the country. Running back John Emery Jr. (No. 11), once a Georgia commit, and linebacker Marcel Brooks (No. 17) are the others. LSU has landed seven of the top 12 recruits in the state of Louisiana for 2019 and might not be done. The Tigers are a leading contender with top-100 uncommitted defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher.
