Xavier williams personally recruiting those players.

Jobe is only one you guys have a chance with. I said a few pages ago that the felling around Miami is it would be a little surprising if he signs with us, and that he wants to be an EE but might have some grade issues that cause problems with him EEing here. So, we'll see how that plays out. He's gunna be playing the BS recruiting games that are a trademark of south florida players.

You also said it was between Miami and LSU for Devonta Smith. You're a homer

Did he really say that about Devonta Smith? If so, ROFL at anyone thinking he was ever going to go anywhere but Bama. That one was a done deal the moment Pettito was back at Bama.

I wouldn't sell Bama's chances at signing any elite CB in this class short. We didn't sign one last year and have a numbers need this year. We always sign several top 100 types that we're not considered the leader for at this time in the process. Every. Single. Year. To say that we have no chance at a lot of guys that at least mention us is lunacy at this point.

This is his post

Don't get why everyone thinks Miami is out of it. Was committed to Richt. He values academics. Theres an open spot across from Ahmmon Richards who was a unanimous FR AA. Would be "the guy" in this class. Bama has best WR in the Nation -Jeudy, and will get Ruggs. Plus Ridley is already there and they are run heavy. And Petito doesn't play as big of a role as Sanders does in this kids life. I think its between Miami and LSU.

Alabama is expected to host JT Daniels, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2019 class, and Tommy Brown, a four-star offensive tackle from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei next week, Brown tells BamaOnLine.

They picked the worst picture possible of Brown to run in that article:

Keith Niebuhr put out a mock class for Auburn yesterday:

I'll post the ones we are after as well. He put out a blurb regarding each prospect.

ATH -- Gerry Bohanon, Earle (Ark.)

Bohanon recently visited and is extremely high on Auburn, which would give him a shot at quaterback. He's an exceptional athlete. He hopes to get back to Auburn in the near future.

RB -- Asa Martin, Decatur (Ala.) Austin

Auburn offered the versatile 4-star back in February and he is someone they like an awful lot. It's a Florida-Auburn battle with Martin saying the Gators lead. Intel suggests, though, it could go either way and Auburn is starting to feel better about its chances.

WR -- Justyn Ross, Phenix City (Ala.) Central

The 6-feet-4 receiver is a 5-star recruit and it likely will come down to Auburn and Alabama for his signature. The Tigers are hopeful an improved passing game and longstanding relationships will be the difference. Ross goes back and forth on when he might want to pick a college.

WR -- Matthew Hill, Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood

The 4-star receiver grew up an Auburn fan, is closest with the Tigers staff and probably has visited the school more than any other. Add it up and things look promising. He potentially could end up on the commit list in the near future.

OT -- Richard Gouraige, Tampa (Fla.) Cambridge Christian

The top-100 recruit likes Auburn a lot -- and a recent visit gave the Tigers a boost. Right now, Florida leads but if the Tigers can get him on campus a few more times that poentially could change things. This will be a battle as Clemson also is heavily involved.

BUCK/OLB -- Richard Jibunor, Athens Christian

Jibunor, who is very high on the Auburn board, likes the Tigers a lot and they might even be the team to beat. Auburn is trending up and he likely will announce his college choice before the start of his senior season. Alabama and Georgia are serious threats.

DT -- Coynis Miller, Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin

This is one we go back and forth with. Miller likes Auburn a lot. The Tigers offered early and have had him on campus the most -- including two weeks ago and again for A-Day. However, he grew up an Alabama fan. It really could go either way. Right now, the level of confidence is higher in Tuscaloosa than in Auburn from the sound of things -- but when you look at the list of offered tackles, Miller is one of the those Auburn has the best shot with.

DE -- Caleb Tannor, Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove

Follow the visits. Tannor has visited Auburn three times in the past three weeks and the Tigers certainly seem to be trending up. They have Tannor toward the top of the board.

LB -- Quay Walker, Cordele (Ga.) Crisp County

Auburn hopes it can land a 4-star recruit for the second straight year from Crisp County. In February, the Tigers signed buck Markaviest Bryant. Now, the Tigers are in contention with Walker, along with Alabama, FSU and Georgia.

CB -- Jalyn Armour-Davis, Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's Episcopal

Auburn and FSU are thought by many to be the top school for the top-100 recruit. The Tigers got involved with his recruitment early and that has paid off. Recently, he made a three-day visit to Auburn, another plus for the Tigers. But FSU appears to be very much in contention and can't counted out. It's a battle.
