So to summarize the Miller situation:
1. His best coaching relationship is with Brent Key.
2. Nick Saban is the head coach recruiting him the most.
3. He knows Alabama's DL depth chart is going to be thin after this season.
4. His dad is an Alabama fan.
5. He is an Alabama fan.
6. He has Alabama third behind Florida and Auburn.
What. The. frick.

Where do the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage five-star cornerbacks end up visiting.
Florida or Florida State?
Regardless, both programs are hosting many of their other top targets.
So are a few others.

Thoughts on the prominent names visiting Gainesville as No. 21 Florida takes on LSU.
Still tough to picture the nation’s No. 6 offensive tackle William Barnes anywhere but UF. The U.S. Army All-American likes Alabama, Florida State, North Carolina and Ohio State among others but the Gators have continued to impress through the entire process. I’ve always said keep an eye on FSU as the sleeper and I never count out Alabama but I continue to like Florida here.
Same goes with Tampa (Fla.) Cambridge Christian School Top247 offensive tackle Richard Gouraige. America’s No. 10 offensive tackle per the 247Sports Composite is looking at plenty of prominent programs himself but I continue to consider the Gators the heavy favorite.
As mentioned, the cornerback duo from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage in Patrick Surtain Jr. and Tyson Campbell are expected along with four-star defensive end Andrew Chatfield. The Gators are considered the heavy favorite for Chatfield and a sleeper for Surtain. Both were inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the victory over the Vols.
A couple sources have indicated Florida is in strong position to flip Auburn safety commit Jamien Sherwood who also visited Gainesville earlier this fall for the win over Tennessee. UCLA commit Kendrick Torain will also be on campus.
Most of Florida’s No. 7 ranked recruiting class will be in Gainesville as will a lot of those already committed in 2019, a class 247Sports ranks No. 1.

Florida State’s make-up date against No. 13 Miami will have star power on the sideline.
Top247 defensive back Houston Griffith is on commit watch.
Two of Texas’s best in Top247 receiver Jaylen Waddle and Top247 defensive tackle Bobby Brown take their visits. Alabama and Texas are also top contenders for both with Oklahoma also still in play Brown and a couple others in the mix for Waddle as well.
Coveted defensive tackle Devin Briggs returns for his second FSU game of the year. He’s favoring the Seminoles and Hurricanes so both programs will look to gain an inch in this recruitment with their play on the field.
Regarding Surtain, FSU has been considered the biggest threat to LSU for much of the process.

Nebraska will have No. 9 Wisconsin in Lincoln as Mike Riley and his team look to make a statement on the field while also making hay with recruits.
The nation’s No. 1 weak-side defensive end in Micah Parsons returns after enjoying his visit to Lincoln in the summer. Nebraska is one of the schools he’s most interested in alongside Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia.
The Huskers will take their swing at Top247 receiver Tommy Bush who arrives high on Texas and Baylor.
Nebraska has been trying to flip touted running back T.J. Pledger from Oklahoma and they’ll continue chopping away on this return trip. Miami receiver commit Brian Hightower is expected as well.
Many of the Huskers commits are taking their officials as well in Brendan Radley-Hiles, Chase Williams, Cameron Jurgens, Cameron Brown and Will Farniok.

In the Pac12 after dark game No. 20 Utah welcomes Stanford and a ton of uncommitted official visitors.
Top247 quarterback Jack Tuttle is the jewel of the class and he’ll take his trip to court the likes of four-star receiver Solomon Enis (also high on Arizona State and USC), Iowa State commit Carson Schleker, Colorado pledge Deion Smith, tight end Michael Ezeike, Top247 offensive tackle Penei Sewell (Alabama and Oregon are considered the favorites), four-star receiver Erik Ezukanma, speedy receiver Geordon Porter (also considering Arizona State and Notre Dame) and yet another pass catcher in Drue Jackson.

Taulia Tagovailoa arrived at Thompson with plenty of hype.
That's what happens when a 4-star quarterback who already has offers from Alabama and Oregon arrives, having thrown for more than 6,700 yards and 64 touchdowns in two seasons at Kapolei High School in Hawaii.
Taulia - a junior at Thompson and the younger brother of Alabama back-up quarterback Tua Tagovailoa - has made a successful transition and has Thompson undefeated entering tonight's game against Vestavia Hills.
"The transition has been good," Taulia said. "On the field, I've seen a lot of different things from defenses, but I feel like Coach (Mark) Freeman has helped me a lot .. and a done a good job of helping me and all of us."
What was Taulia's expectations as he made the Hawaii-to-Alabama move? "I just wanted to make a difference and do anything I can," he said.
Mission accomplished. He has completed 108-of-143 passes for 1,530 yards and 14 touchdowns while throwing just one interception.
"He does some crazy stuff sometimes," said Thompson receiver Ahmad Edwards, who has 57 catches. "I'll be running a route and I'll be looking for him, and I'll just see a ball fly out and it's right there - right where I'm about to run."
What has Freeman, Thompson's head coach who is hands-on with quarterbacks, seen from Taulia?
"I think what's he's becoming - and I think Taulia would tell you this - he's becoming a complete quarterback," said Freeman, whose career includes working with Mr. Football Tyler Johnston at Spanish Fort and current Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers at Gulf Shores. "When you see our running backs run for 300 yards in a game, Taulia's had to make some good decisions. He's doing that.
"He's not the kid wanting to throw it 900 times," he added. "He'd love to do that, but he also wants to be a kid that when he is recruited, he knows RPOs, he knows how to progression-read his routes, he knows how get you in a run, he knows what quick game to get in if the box is heavy. He's doing all that. He's a studier of the game."
Tagovailoa said he is focused on the season, not recruiting, and added he's not sure if he's received any new scholarship offers since the season began. He's currently ranked a 4-star prospect in the Class of 2019.
"Yeah, he's a very special talent," Freeman said. "But he's working hard every day and he's never satisfied. We meet every day at 7 o'clock (a.m.), and he's got ideas and he's got questions, and he's just trying to educate himself every day."
Tagovailoa and his family moved to Alabama to make it easier to attend Alabama football games.
"The atmosphere is just really loud," he said. "It's fun. Not a lot of kids get the opportunity to watch Alabama football.
"I'll be honest with you, there were some I didn't even know who Hawaii played," he added. "But here, it's like everyone looks forward to the Alabama games. Football's not as big over there. ... Just football overall here, it's a fun atmosphere to play in, for sure."

Coynis Miller still says Florida leads
Former 5-star linebacker Mack Wilson called Florida his leader for months back when he was a recruit in the 2016 class. He ended up canceling his official visit to Gainesville the weekend prior to National Signing Day, and the Gators were officially eliminated from his recruitment.
But, to be clear, Wilson was never going to sign with Florida. It was clear to those who covered recruiting, and avid fans who followed along, that Wilson was almost assuredly going to choose Alabama when he committed — and was just playing Florida all along. Wilson loved the attention he received in the recruiting process and him saying Florida led was just his way of deflecting away from the common knowledge that he was going to be a part of the Crimson Tide.
Alabama fans need to hope 4-star Coynis Miller is playing a similar game when he makes his commitment on Oct. 14 to either the Crimson Tide, Auburn or Florida.
Miller, one of the Tide’s top defensive tackle targets in the 2018 class, says the Gators currently lead for him. He’s visited Gainesville just once since he became a national recruit. Is that enough for him to choose the Gators next Saturday?
“It was just something special when I went down there,” Miller told SEC Country’s Benjamin Wolk. “I loved it. I barely wanted to come back. There’s just something special about them.
“They showed me a lot of love when I went there. They were begging me to get down there. They were patient with me. When I got down there, they just showed me a lot of love. It was just fun and a great experience. It’s better in person.”
This is just my opinion based on conversations I’ve had with people in the industry, but I don’t think he’s going to choose Florida next Saturday if he doesn’t end up visiting this weekend for the Gators’ game against LSU. One visit just doesn’t seem to be enough for a guy who has a very tight relationship with Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar and offensive line coach Brent Key and Auburn defensive line coach Rodney Garner.
Miller, however, says that picking Florida over the two in-state schools won’t be an issue.
“It won’t be hard,” Miller said. “It’s just going to be what’s best for me.”
The nation’s No. 15 defensive tackle said he’s going to try to visit all three of his final schools one final time before his decision next Saturday. It’s something that is highly improbable unless he visits Florida this weekend. On Thursday night, SEC Country was told that he’s expected to visit Auburn this weekend with his entire family and his head coach, who is an Auburn grad.
Miller visited Tuscaloosa last weekend for Alabama’s game against Ole Miss. It was his second trip to Tuscaloosa for a game this fall. He’s visited Alabama twice, Auburn once and Florida zero times since the season began.
The 6-foot-2, 300-pound prospect said Alabama, which was sitting third prior to his visit last weekend, is now tied with Auburn for his No. 2 spot behind Florida.
“Alabama and Auburn are pretty much tied for that second spot right now after I visited [Tuscaloosa],” Miller said. “Just being down there, they’re losing a lot of D-linemen. They’re going to lose like five or six guys. That just gives me a great opportunity to go in and play.”
What was different about that trip to make Alabama pull even with Auburn?
“I think it was just the intensity [of the game],” he said. “The atmosphere — that was my first time going to a night game there. I think that’s probably what it was.”
It should be noted that Miller’s parents are split on their allegiances to the in-state schools. His mother is an Auburn fan, while his father supports Alabama. He said that their fandom won’t play any role in his commitment. They’ll support him no matter which school he chooses.
“They’re just really supportive and I believe them,” Miller said.
We’ll see which school Miller picks next Saturday. As of now, I don’t think Alabama will be the pick. But in recruiting, things change by the day.

Justin Watkins says he is down to Alabama and LSU.
I don't think he has a committable offer from us though.

Missing on Coynis really hurts. We really need interior linemen and it sucks that he is probably going to Auburn.

So to summarize the Miller situation:

2. Nick Saban is the head coach recruiting him the most.
3. He knows Alabama's DL depth chart is going to be thin after this season.
4. His dad is an Alabama fan.
5. He is an Alabama fan.
6. He has Alabama third behind Florida and Auburn.
So I guess this means he is going to Awbarn? Since he seems to be propping up schools he is not going to go to.

Probably.
His high school coach is an Auburn alum and the rumor on BOL is he is pushing Coynis to the Plains. Hard.
