So Sanders is going to get everyone to come to Bama with him.

From ellitor on the Auburn board regarding Asa Martin:
quote:
Agreed. A poster with AU connections on The Bunker says he's a silent to Bama FWIW.

Ellitor again:

Asa Martin note from Mikecb. Says his parents have been on board with AU for a while but Asa feel in love with Nick. Good chance he goes to Bama if they have room.

AuburnUndercover presents Auburn’s 10 most wanted prospects for the class of 2018. To compile this, we’ve considered where each player sits on the Auburn board, Auburn's need at the position, the Tigers' chances of landing the prospect as well as the player’s skill set. This list is extremely fluid. In recruiting, things can change on both sides in an instant. At this time, Auburn’s recruiting board continues to shift (so look for this list to change dramatically in the future). New offers have gone out weekly. After a flurry of action, Auburn has 11 commitments at the moment. At this time, we expect the Tigers to sign slightly fewer than the max (without back-counting) of 25 but the exact target won’t be known for several months.

2. Coynis Miller, DT: Auburn, Alabama and Florida are the favorites for Miller, who is the No. 1 defensive tackle on the Tigers' board. He has visited Auburn more than any other program and that helps. So does the fact former teammate Tadarian Moultry will play for the Tigers. Miller wanted to announce his decision soon, but now has decided to push things back a bit. At this time, we believe Auburn is the team to beat.

5. Justyn Ross, WR: Auburn-Alabama-Clemson battle that probably could go any way at this time. Ross isn't likely to make a commitment until later in the cycle, so a lot can still shake out. How Auburn does this season will be a factor so an improved passing game would help. Ross recently said Auburn and Clemson were recruiting him hardest, but he recently visited the Tide and that program's confidence level rises every time he steps foot on campus. What we can tell you is, as of very recently, the Clemson staff was more concerned about Auburn than Alabama. Our feeling? It's truly a three-team race.
FWIW one of our mods predicted him to Alabama this morning in his class projection.

t6. Asa Martin, RB: This appears to be an Iron Bowl battle, with Auburn and Alabama ahead of Clemson and Florida. The Tides likes its chances. Auburn feels good. He'll announce Aug. 24. Martin spent two nights in Auburn over the weekend and is said to really click with the team. He's also close with the staff. On the flip side, he's intrigued by Alabama's success and track record of getting players into the NFL. It sounds like he could visit the Tide again before the dead period begins. This one remains a toss-up as his decision date approaches.

t10. Seth Williams, WR: Given that he lives so close to Alabama, many have never liked Auburn's prospects with the 4-star recruit. But Williams didn't attend the Tide's cookout last week and instead spent two days at Auburn. Could the Tigers make a real push here?

Apopka (Fla.) four-star offensive tackle William Barnes unveiled a Top 7 on Thursday evening.
The Top 7 consists of Florida, North Carolina, Florida State, Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.
Florida and North Carolina are considered the top two for Barnes, according to the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball. The Gators (75%) hold a commanding lead in predictions over the Tar Heels (25%).
A recent visit to Alabama thrust them heavily into the mix. Barnes has visited Florida State on multiple occasions as well and he, as well as family members, expressed a great deal of interest in the Seminoles at The Opening.
The 6-foot-4, 312-pound offensive tackle has previously stated he intends to utilize all of his official visits before making a decision.
A decision isn't expected until later in the process.
The 247Sports.com Composite ranks Barnes as the No. 45 overall prospect and No. 5 offensive tackle.

I guess Auburn is going to sign everyone in-state. Like they predict in July every year.

Now that's interesting.
I still think he's TCU bound though.
But he supposedly has the green light to commit to us.

Three-star all-purpose back and Alabama slot receiver target Slade Bolden is down to two schools -- Alabama and TCU -- heading into his college decision, according to a Tweet from KNOE8's Aaron Dietrich.
Prior to Friday, Bolden had a top three of the two aforementioned programs, as well as LSU. The West Monroe (La.) product has now dropped the Tigers.
“He really told me like people will try to tell you, you can’t play here or you can’t play there, you’re too big, or you’re too small,” Bolden told BamaOnLine of his conversation with Nick Saban during his visit. “He said don’t believe in that. He also said don’t feel the LSU pressure being from Louisiana, because this is what I want, not what everyone else wants me to do. He’s not saying LSU wouldn’t be a great choice, he was just saying don’t feel the pressure.
“He talked about how successful I could be there, and how every class that’s been through there has won a national championship. I’d say that’s pretty good.”
Bolden confirmed to BamaOnLine on Friday that he still plans to make a decision before August.
At 5-foot-11, 192 pounds, Bolden is rated the No. 17 all-purpose back and the No. 822 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
Right now, TCU is the Crystal Ball favorite at 100 percent.

Serious question, at what point is it ok to be concerned with our recruiting
