Emil Ekyor
Ekiyor nearly visited Alabama twice in the month of June. It looks like July, however, will be the actual date he makes the trip. The 4-star Wolverines commit has visited Tuscaloosa multiple times in the past, and remains a top offensive line target.

Jack Tuttle
Tuttle continues to be my prediction for who Alabama signs at quarterback in 2018. Alabama just needs to flip him from Utah. With the recent opening at quarterback in USC's class, the Trojans now look like a legit threat as well.

Christian Latu
Latu named Alabama his leader in January, but has since gone as far as naming a top five. Alabama and USC look to be the top contenders for the one-time BYU commit.

Harold Joiner
Joiner is recruited as a running back/wide receiver by Alabama, but hopes to play just running back at the next level, something LSU is pitching.

Tommy Bush
Bush has emerged as a big target at wide receiver for the Tide. He visited in June and will likely return in the future.

Jaycee Horn
Horn will decide between Alabama and South Carolina on July 15th. The NFL legacy visited Tuscaloosa twice this spring, at one point naming Bama his leader.

Thank God that's fricking over. The way BOL laid out that article I couldn't copy and paste the blurbs. I had to type all that shite out myself.

From an evaluation standpoint, there's no greater event in the spring or summer than The Opening Finals hosted by Nike in Oregon every year (June 30-July 3). We see the best in the country in head-to-head competition and there will, without question, be major rankings shakeups sparked by the event.
With more than 150 of the best players in the country interviewing for rankings bumps, there's a lot to keep an eye on. So we've boiled things down to 15 names with some rankings moves at stake.

Five who are 5-star candidates
quote:
Jackson Carman, OT
247Sports ranking – No. 13
Carman has the size and the ability to leave Oregon as the best offensive lineman in the country. He plays a premium position at offensive tackle and he's maybe the most natural athletes of the offensive linemen. He needs to show up in shape and show physicality but if he does, Carman has the five-star profile. Ohio State is battling Clemson, USC, Alabama and others for the in-state prospect.

Patrick Surtain Jr., CB
247Sports ranking – No. 15
It may take a bad week for Surtain to leave Oregon without a fifth star. He's that close already. The kid has size at 6-foot-2, he's extremely polished and he's got the speed and athleticism you want. LSU and FSU are the favorites.

Kamryn Babb, WR
247Sports ranking – No. 18
Babb is one of a few receivers who are worth watching this week to see if they can bridge the gap from four- to five-star range — guys like Terrace Marshall, Mark Pope, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Shorter. They all have very real five-star potential coming out of this event. Babb is currently our top-ranked receiver and ranked higher than most, and I'm expecting him to validate that ranking this week. Ohio State is the Crystal Ball favorite.

Talanoa Hufanga, S
247Sports ranking – No. 28
I think Hufanga has five-star film. College evaluators that I've talked to unanimously love the kid and he's a dynamic competitor. Located all the way up in Oregon, we don't get many chances to see him so if he tests well and competes consistently, there's no better time than this week to brand him with that fifth star.

quote:
Tyson Campbell, CB
247Sports ranking – No. 40
On paper, there isn't a more impressive cornerback athlete in this class. At 6-foot-2.5, Campbell is a 10.4 100-meter guy. With that kind of pure size and athleticism Campbell just needs to show that he has the hips and the instincts to match and it will be hard to keep him out of the top tier.

Five others who are ready to rise
quote:
Bryan Addison, S
247Sports ranking – No. 551 (3-star)
We've been slow on the move with Bryan Addison because it's hard to really digest what you're seeing in a legit 6-foot-3 safety that can run and cover on the back end. While his ability to tackle is really our biggest question, Addison's continued dominance in coverage at his size has him positioned for a big bump with another good showing in Oregon. USC is currently the Crystal Ball favorite.
Posted on 6/26/17 at 1:57 pm to TideSaint
quote:
Delone Scaife, OG
247Sports ranking – No. 519 (3-star)
Though he's not the rare body type that is ideal on the offensive line, Scaife has been one of the nation's most impressive linemen during in-person workouts this spring. The Miami commit will move up to the four-star range if he just replicates in pads this week what he's done over the last several settings without pads.

Tommy Bush, WR
247Sports ranking – No. 341 (3-star)
Bush's surge this offseason reminds me a lot of what we saw out of Tyrell Shavers in Texas a year ago. Shavers ended up at Alabama after blowing people away with his 4.3 speed at 6-foot-6. Bush has similar physical traits with legit 4.4 speed at nearly 6-foot-5. Baylor is the current Crystal Ball favorite for a guy that could go from 3-star to one of the top receivers in the country with a strong showing.
