Don't think Thomas made it down to Columbus. He said something in a tweet about not going anywhere this weekend. Interesting to say the least

I wonder if he and Scates will make the trip down to Tuscaloosa next weekend?
Alabama really only has Georgia to compete with in regards to visits next week. Some interesting decisions will be made.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — The Pylon Elite 7-on-7 Camp Series continued in the Sunshine State this weekend with a Florida-dominated field with a touch of The Boot.
Several of the top-performing prospects from last week’s tournament maintained their momentum this weekend in Miami, while other standouts emerged in a new field this around.
SEC Country was on site for the 16-team invitational. Here are some of the top performers:

Josh Jobe, DB (NGHTMR 7-on-7)
Jobe, a Miami verbal commit, flashed the ability to play either corner or safety at the next level. On Saturday, the 4-star defensive back lined up at safety and was absolutely explosive on each snap. Jobe has the great instinctual play that you’d want in a deep safety, and is also physical when playing over the top. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder discussed the idea of being a corner, though, which could work considering his violent hands and elite footwork. He was one of the most impressive Sunshine State prospects overall.
Recruiting skinny: Jobe recently made a visit to Alabama. The Tide and Michigan are both teams trying very hard to flip the Hurricanes commit this spring. Even though he’s committed, he was taken back a bit by the trip to Tuscaloosa and how the staff made him feel like a priority. A flip could very well be on the horizon.
We need corners bad. I hope we can flip Jobe. I like that comment about his hands and footwork.

Speaking of flipping cornerbacks, John Garcia said Kelvin Joseph is a Safety or Nickel, at best.
If that's the case I'd like to see us go after other prospects. We need true corners.

Jacob Copeland, a four-star receiver from Pensacola, Fla., said last month at the New Orleans Opening that Alabama wasn't much of a factor anymore and then told reporters at Auburn last weekend that he would choose between Auburn and Florida at the Under Armour All-America Game several months from now.
He came back and then added Ole Miss and Tennessee to his top five. Things change all the time early in recruiting and Alabama seems to have a much better chance with Copeland now.

** April 15 is the first day that assistant coaches can go on the road to scout prospects and that period runs through May 31. Most high schools have spring practices that start later in April and run through mid-May, so that will be the top time where coaches are on the road.
