WATCH: 5-star OL Clay Webb wrestling match
Brent Key was in attendance.
quote:
One of Alabama's priority targets in the 2019 class, five-star offensive lineman Clay Webb, is not only an accomplished football player, but wrestler as well.
He won the 285 title during a match at Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson on Friday night.
The 6-foot-3, 297-pounder from Oxford (Ala.) is trending to the Crimson Tide at 100 percent on the Crystal Ball. Webb makes up part of a trio of elite offensive linemen from in-state that the Tide hopes to land in the cycle -- UA commit Pierce Quick and four-star tackle Amari Kight being the other two.
Webb is rated the No. 1 center and the No. 12 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
Brent Key was in attendance.

Best Available: A look at the top unsigned defensive backs
quote:
The first-ever Early Signing Period has changed the college football recruiting landscape dramatically, with a good portion of the nation’s recruits signing with the colleges of their choice. That has left some programs searching to fill spots, opening new doors for the players who elected to wait and sign in February. With the dead period now over and the month-long race to Feb. 7 now on, we take a look at the best available unsigned prospects at each position this week. Today we take a look at highest-ranked defensive backs still on the market.

Patrick Surtain
Schools in the mix: LSU, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State
Breakdown: The list of schools still trying to get in on Surtain could be even longer than listed above but his recruitment seems to be close to being wrapped up. He spent this weekend on an official visit to LSU, the school long considered the favorite to land his commitment. He’s set to visit Alabama next weekend and then has two more available visit weekends. Will he take them or will he focus on the Tigers and Tide heading into a Signing Day announcement?

Isaac Taylor-Stuart
Schools in the mix: Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, USC
Breakdown: Taylor-Stuart has a busy month of visits on the schedule, starting with a trip he’s currently on to nearby USC this weekend. The in-state option seems like the most likely for Taylor-Stuart but he’s openly talked about his love for several SEC programs, including Alabama and Georgia. He will visit both schools over the next month and also try to fit in a visit to see the Vols. He visited Texas A&M back in the fall and says the Aggies are still in the mix as well.

Tyson Campbell
Schools in the mix: Miami, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State
Breakdown: Campbell has done a pretty good job of keeping schools guessing but as one of the most talented defensive backs in the country, he’s well worth the effort for several elite programs. He spent this weekend on an official visit to Georgia and many think the Dawgs are trending in the right direction for Campbell. He will be on campus at Alabama next weekend, while Miami and Ohio State are also both working to get him back on campus.

Alabama looks to future, offers 2020 Hewitt-Trussville receiver
quote:
It's been a big day for Hewitt-Trussville receiver Dazalin Worsham.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder tweeted that he has received scholarship offers from Tennessee and national champion Alabama. He is currently rated a four-star prospect by 247sports and is considered one of the state's elite prospects for the Class of 2020.
Worsham caught 70 passes for 856 yards and nine touchdowns in 2017 after transferring from Gardendale to Hewitt-Trussville and helped the Huskies win the Class 7A, Region 4 title and finish 10-0 in the regular season for the second straight season.
Alabama already has a commitment from 2019 Hewitt-Trussville lineman Pierce Quick and has offered 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson, the great-grandson of legendary Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant.

Smith is the only offensive lineman to ever win the Mr. Football award, he became an All-American at Alabama, and he was a first-round NFL draft pick. He was also named an All-American by USA Today and Parade that season during his senior season at Huffman, recording 88 pancake blocks, according to the Alabama High School Football Historical Society.
