Yep. Also, Pennamon is announcing his choice tomorrow morning on Twitter per David Johnson.

From the OM recruiting thread:
quote:
Neal thinks Knott and Carter will split b/n us and Bama. His Bama sources are most confident with Knott.
quote:
Jeffrey Simmons gave an interview. He says down to OM, Bama, State and Tennessee.
Eta: he will make a decision Tuesday and announce Wednesday

His third canceled OV to us.

The good thing is I doubt most of us have been expecting him for awhile now. Even if he decided to stay close to home UGA probably would have won out.

quote:
“It’s been nice,” he said. “The visit was like all of them. They all have nice facilities. It’s his decision because everybody treats you right and good. It was good. “We haven’t made a decision yet. Like I always said, it’s his decision. It’s going to be a big decision. He’s 18 and coming out of high school and going into the world. It’s going to be a big decision.”
“It’s no pressure or anything like that,” he said. “It’s a home guy. It’s going to be difficult or whatever you would say, but other than that, I don’t know, I’m just thinking of what’s best for A.J.
"You’ve got people who are going to say (something) regardless of where he goes. That lasts maybe two or three days. As a whole, we’ve got good people in Mississippi, as well as pretty much anywhere. It would probably be difficult or whatever.”
“We did have three visits,” he said. “We’re going to sit down and put everything together - the good and the bad - and make a decision as a whole and go from there pretty much. Mississippi State is not out of the race, though. We had three visits - Cal, Alabama and Ole Miss. We grew up in Starkville, so he’s over there all the time. The only thing you can do is pretty much wait.”
Wherever A.J. lands, Arthur said he will play both football and baseball. He was supposed to meet with Ole Miss head baseball coach Mike Bianco on Saturday, but due to scheduling, they weren’t able to. The meeting was rescheduled for today before they leave campus. Arthur said they “never got a chance” to meet with Mississippi State head baseball coach John Cohen. “They had a doctor appointment.”
“He will play baseball,” Arthur said. “Pretty much all four schools are giving him the opportunity that he can play.”

Do these recruits even care OM is facing potential ncaa investigation and possible sanctions?
Posted on 1/31/16 at 11:40 am to Sebastian
In terms of sanctions, I'll believe it when I see it. This isn't the NCAA that put us on probation for fricking textbooks.

Nice work man.
I have an hour flight left and I'm finally home.

Haha.
I was stationed in Columbus for 4 and a half years before I moved to Idaho.
My wife's family lives there.

4-star CB Nigel Knott may decide Monday, but he may wait it out longer. #OM #MSU #Bama
So he might announce tomorrow or he might not announce tomorrow. So insightful.

Quote from Knott's mother:
quote:
“It’s all the same,” she said. “Honestly, to me, I think Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss were all the same to him. Oregon was up there on that list, but we didn’t go for that. It’s too far. He knows that we’re all close as a family. I think he’s really torn between those three. He’s got family at State, which is his sister. I went there a little while also. His dad played here. His God-dad played here. I went here. He was born here. He feels like he has ties here. My mom’s dad played at Alabama and stuff like that, and his dad is in Alabama. He’s trying to figure out do I want to be in Alabama because my dad is there, or do I want to be at Ole Miss because my dad played here, my God-dad played here and I know some of the players here. Or do I want to be at Mississippi State because my sister is right there if I need her. He’s got family there, too. Her grandparents are there, too. Today, I know for a fact he’s going to be in the backseat and he’s not going to be talking to anybody with his headphones on. I know what he’s doing.”
“I’m content, as long as it’s one of the three.”
