Oh. I'm all for fighting fire with fire. UCLA's scheme is creative. They use players as extras in Hollywood acting roles and pay them a fortune under the table. Haha. I like it!

Saban checked in on Fromm today. Smart also checked in on him.

I haven't seen the updated Class of 2017 rankings yet, but I expect Fromm to shoot up tremendously. Hell, he may even be a 5-star.

Just heard some more good news regarding AJ Brown from a parent with a child on his team. Says he has made up his mind and it is definitely BAMA but hate to get my hopes up.??

If Barnett starts next year for Bama, I expect Fromm to go elsewhere. Fromm will not want to sit on the bench for possibly 3 years.

Nah. It's only Bama/UGa for Fromm. Both teams will start freshmen. We're in the driver's seat.

Tim Watts on Demetris Robertson:

- He is not expected to get accepted to Stanford, therefore knocking them out of the picture.
- Georgia is fading.
- If he makes his decision based on football, then he's probably going to Alabama.
- If academics are the priority, then it's ND.

Georgia is signing the #2 pro QB in the nation this year, Jacob Eason.

Kirby Smart beat Nick Saban by 30 min today to check on 2017 QB Jake Fromm. 4-star QB still committed to #Tide.

Will USC Commit Tyler Vaughns Take More Visits After Weekend Trip?

La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat wide out Tyler Vaughns visited USC over the weekend but will still take one more trip before shutting things down.

Tyler Vaughns has been a long time USC commitment and took his official visit over the weekend. Vaughns was hosted by Trojans WR Juju Smith-Schuster and said he had a great visit and has a great comfort level with the school.

"I like Coach Helton and Coach Martin a lot," Vaughns said. "They said the offense will be similar to what they've been doing and I like how I'll be used there.

"I think I'll have a chance to come in and play early and that's definitely a goal for me. I'm still going to visit Alabama next week, they have such a great program that I have to give them a look but my commitment to USC is very solid."

Three-star Oneonta (Ala.) linebacker prospect Riley Cole picked up a lot of recruiting steam in June, snagging his first few Power 5 offers before Alabama presented one he couldn't turn down. Since then several suitors have inquired about getting him on campus but the versatile talent "shrugged them away."
The only official visit he'd take would be to Tuscaloosa and it went down right out of the dead period.
"It was pretty amazing, I got to experience a bunch of the campus I hadn't gotten to before," Cole said. "Normally when I go down there it's usually football stuff and the stadium, that's about it. This time we got to see the student center, the cafeteria and how campus life usually is. I thought it was great, I loved it
