Cavin Ridley said he has been going by Riley for a while. It is his middle name.
I refuse to call him anything other than Cavin.
Momma named him Cavin, I'm gonna call him Cavin.

"I'm one of those guys who's just ready to get out of the state of Alabama," Wilson said, asked if there's pressure to stay in state. "Being there for 17 years, there really ain't nothing there but trouble, so that's the reason I want to get out of the state, really."
Oh Lyndell.
He must really not remember his ONE visit to Gainesville. That place is a shite hole of epic proportions.

Terrell Hall isn't playing in the game this weekend due to a knee injury. I hope it's not too serious.

Terrell Hall quotes:
I don't know where the confidence from Garcia is coming from regarding him announcing this weekend, but what he said above is what he told 247.
REC must have gotten into the textile industry.
quote:
“Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss and Maryland,” Hall said. “Those are the main four schools. But it’s a real close margin between Florida State and Alabama. Ole Miss is there too, I just haven’t been there yet.”
quote:
A decision is expected on National Signing Day for the elite DE.
“I’m pretty sure I will (announce on NSD),” Hall said. “I talked to ESPN about doing it on National Signing Day.”
I don't know where the confidence from Garcia is coming from regarding him announcing this weekend, but what he said above is what he told 247.
quote:
Hall, like four-star receiver Keith Gavin, showed up with Alabama sweatpants on today. Was this a sign of things to come?
“Nah, it was more comfortable than the Under Armour sweatpants,” Hall said. “Everything is getting to small for me now.”
REC must have gotten into the textile industry.

Dontavious Jackson:
quote:
Earlier in December, Bama head coach Nick Saban stopped by Elsik to visit with Jackson.
“To have Nick Saban come to your school – that’s crazy; that’s just wild,” Jackson said. “I was like dang man, I can do this.”
Jackson’s primary recruiter at Alabama is defensive line coach Bo Davis. He talked about his relationship with the Tide assistant.
“Coach Davis is one of the coolest coaches I’ve ever talked to,” Jackson said. “We talk frequently, probably two or three times a week. He reaches out a lot. He’s real; he keeps it straight up.”

Orlando — Sunday was check-in day for the Under Armour All-America Game. Noles247 interviewed fifteen Florida State prospects today. Here’s a rundown of what we learned:
quote:
— I learned Malik Henry is doing everything in his power to see to it that FSU closes the 2016 recruiting class by adding a few more studs. Top on his list includes Brandon Burton, Keith Gavin, Landon Dickerson, Nate Craig-Myers and Trayvon Mullen.
quote:
— I learned Keith Gavin will take two more visits before deciding. He’ll be at Alabama on the 15th and FSU on the 22nd. He’s always talked about visiting Georgia, but admitted today that that trip will not take place. Gavin says his shoulder injury would be fully recovered in three more weeks. He considered taking a cortisone shot so he could play, but his family thought that was a bad idea (that’s what family is for).

— I learned things are real tight at the top for four-star defensive end Terrell Hall. I think FSU has a great shot at him, as do Alabama and Ole Miss. FSU’s biggest competition will be the Alabama visit on January 22nd. Weathering the storm of that ‘Bama visit will be crucial.

Nigel Knott update:
quote:
When looking at the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Alabama is the heavy favorite with 48-percent of the predictions in favor of the Crimson Tide. Oregon is running in second with 26-percent of the picks.
“Alabama has a dominant nature of the whole team,” said Knott. “Coach Saban would be my position coach in a sense. I like Mel Tucker and Coach Pruitt. With Coach Pruitt coming in, I kind of know him a little, so when he came over I knew that there were more defensive-minded coaches coming in.”
Knott isn’t sure if he’ll announce his commitment on National Signing Day or just prior to that Feb. 3 date. However, he knows it will come a few more trips.
“I’ll make a decision after my next four visits,” said Knott. “I know there are only three weekends left to take visits, but I’ll take one during the week too. I’m not really sure when I want to decide or anything, but it’ll definitely be after all four visits.
“I’m not sure,” Knott added when asked if any schools were locks to receive an official visit. “I’m actually going home after this game and figuring this all out.”
Knott made it clear that he likes a lot of different things about many schools. When he thinks he could be closing in on a decision, he steps back and starts reconsidering all of his options again, which brings him back to square one.
“I like Oregon, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss,” said Knott. “Honestly, I really like the Florida schools too. Both in-state schools are coming after me hard and I like them. They both have great staffs and it would be nice playing close to home. I’ve already been to Oregon and that was great. Alabama is a great program as well.”

Check out this pussy shite Jimbo is using to lure recruits to Florida State:
What a douchebag recruiting tactic.
Did L5U fans really want him running their program?

quote:
Hall has already taken an official to Florida State; he talked about what’s keeping the Seminoles in the race.
“The versatility as far as they’ll play me inside, outside, outside linebacker, standing up,” Hall said. “They give you a lot of opportunity to play for national championships without the wear and tear of the SEC – that’s another pitch they really like to use. Basically you’re playing top competition and you’re competing for a national championship, but you’re not wearing and tearing your body week in and week out.

If you're playing "top competition" then you're going to get the same wear and tear. The conference doesn't matter if the competition is the same. What a bitch.
