Lord knows, LSU fans never turn on players. It has to be a Bama fan in disguise . Those poor folks are delusional.

I don't understand the train of thought they have with this.

Gump: "Look at this interview. Dylan Moses said some positive things about Bama. Better dust off my alter and go trash the kid."

Seriously?

Some on the UGA247 board still think they end up with one of Tosh/Davis/Tucker.

ETA: You have to wonder what is taking them so long to announce coaches. Muschamp has practically put together his whole staff while Kirby still needs (assuming the current ones won't be retained) a WR coach, TE coach, RB coach, DC, Dline coach, DB coach, and a LB coach.

I would think they could end up with either Tosh or Davis but not both. I'm not sure why any of them would make a lateral move though. Maybe Tucker for the DC would make sense.

Hope they take Tucker TBH, so Bama can just hire a LB coach.

The rumor is that Tucker doesn't like to recruit. If so, I don't imagine he'd be a good fit with what Kirby is trying to do there.

The 2017 Rivals player rankings have all been updated and it is now time to take a look at the team rankings. Several programs are already off to fast starts, but these are the top top ten in the country. The SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac 12 are each represented early on in the process.

1) Alabama

TOTAL COMMITS - 8

FIVE-STARS - 1

FOUR-STARS - 7

AVG. STARS - 4.13

POINTS - 1,353

Five-stars: RB Najee Harris
Four-stars: RB Cam Akers, OL Netori Johnson, DB Xavier McKinney, QB Jake Fromm, RB Brian Robinson, OL Alex Leatherwood, ATH Chadarius Townsend
Breakdown: Nick Saban has a history of finishing at the top of the rankings and he is out to a lead in the 2017 recruiting class. The class started with a bang as the Tide went west to grab five-star running back Najee Harris. They've been all over the map ever since. Georgia is well represented. No. 1 offensive guard Netori Johnson, defensive back Xavier McKinney and quarterback Jake Fromm are huge additions from the Peach State. Offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood adds some a Florida Rivals250 taste and Rivals100 running back Cam Akers is another explosive talent representing Mississippi. The Tide did not forget the home state crew either - Rivals250 members Brian Robinson and Chadarius Townsend are both from Alabama.

Alabama

The Crimson Tide only have one commitment participating in the Shrine Bowl but he's a good one. Rivals250 running back B.J. Emmons looks to be a major piece of the North Carolina offense and he will likely see plenty of snaps. The North Carolina offense was really clicking on their outside runs, something Emmons specializes at. Don't be surprised if you see him break off a few big runs.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - There are a lot of committed players taking part in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas this week. Twenty schools are represented and there are a number of prospects considering a number of big time programs from all over the country. The prospects have visited campuses, talked to coaches and heard every pitch imaginable. Rivals.com asked players a series of questions on a wide range of topics about schools they were considering. A selection of responses is listed below.

Notes: Committed prospects were asked not to choose their own programs.

That's the equivalent of saying that Al Qaeda throws the best party.

Although, to be fair, Emmons grew up a Vile fan.

A quote from his dad in that thread:

quote:

Taunting you? Are you serious? I've watch you guys tear into my kid on both boards all day but I'm taunting you? Why are you in your feelings?

But but but it was an Alabama fan disguised as an LSU fan that said that. Now gumps are buying 247 subscriptions to LSU's site?

Come on man really? Do you really think Dylan. Needs to sour a fan base to choose a school other than LSU? Don't do that to my family. If Dylan chooses to attend another university it's because he feels that he will be developed better there. If you get upset about that then I feel sorry for you.

Point of thread...there are forces both inside and outside of my family that is pulling my 17 year old in several different directions all at one time. Nothing he does is malicious, trust me. Every step taken is for an Indepth evaluation of his current circumstances

These posts give an inside look into what it's really like to be recruited at a high level.

I hate that the family is going through that. That being said, it is interesting how LSU fans are begging his dad to not see the few idiots as representative of the whole fanbase despite the fact that they try to paint Alabama fans with a broad brush all of the time.
