I think he means we won't get that many players to commit at this rate. Which may very well be true.

I'm sure there is some two star white linebacker whose dream has always been to play at Alabama.

At this rate, he will get an offer soon.

And his name will be Dillon Lee Jr.

Nah, I love Dillon. He's almost invisible on the field until that opportune time he makes a big play. Never physically dominating, but always seems to be in the right place at the right time over the years.

College football programs around the nation bolstered their squads Wednesday, as junior college signing day kicked off the early enrollment period of signing for junior college prospects. While many of those players already had verbal agreements in place, they couldn't officially sign until Wednesday.

Players that choose not to sign between now and Jan. 15 can sign on Feb. 3, national signing day, for all prospects heading to the college game.

Many of the top junior college players in the land made things official Wednesday, however, including the No. 1 prospect in the 247Sports JUCO Composite Rankings, offensive tackle Charles Baldwin, who is heading to Alabama.

No. 1 player headed to Alabama

Alabama isn't a stranger to landing the cream of the crop during signing day. Wednesday was no different, as the Crimson Tide signed offensive tackle Charles Baldwin, the nation's top-ranked JUCO player.

At 6'5" and 305 pounds, Baldwin can play both tackle positions, and with Dominick Jackson a senior, there could be an immediate opportunity for him to see time at right tackle opposite left tackle Cam Robinson.

"They were telling me they want me to come in and contribute right way, and the fact I'm coming in as an early enrollee is really going to help," Baldwin told Drew Champlin of AL.com. "I think it's a good chance I'll play early as long as I work hard and buy into the system. That's what the coaches are telling me, and that's what I plan on doing."

Baldwin, from Windsor, Connecticut, was a standout lineman at Asa College in New York City.

The signing period for mid-year transfers kicked off Wednesday morning and there was no shortage of recruiting news for junior college prospects.

Brooklyn (N.Y.) ASA College four-star offensive tackle Charles Baldwin, who ranked No. 1 overall in the Rivals.com junior college preseason 100, followed through with his longtime pledge and inked with Alabama to give the Crimson Tide yet another instant impact lineman. He originally picked Alabama early in the summer over offers from the likes of Georgia, Miami, Michigan State and Ole Miss, and has shown all the tools to be a plug-and-play candidate next season.

No. We have a ton of Seniors that don't play much on our roster.

Favorite part about Mack Wilson's 247 page is that his twitter link on the right side is messed up so it is currently displaying tweets from someone in Japan with anime characters and all in Japanese. Or at least I think it is Japanese.

Christian Bell originally committed to Alabama back in April of 2014, and his journey is finally ending on Wednesday.

Bell, a 3-star defensive end from Hoover (Ala.) High School was expected to be a part of the 2015 signing class, not the 2016 group. What happened was Alabama asked him to grayshirt before last year’s National Signing Day. A grayshirt is essentially a pause button to joining the team. Grayshirts cannot receive an athletic scholarship, enroll as a full-time student and can’t work out with the football team. Bell reportedly was asked to grayshirt so it could give him more time to get stronger and work on his academics.

He can now enjoy the benefits of being a full-time student at the University of Alabama because Bell announced on Twitter that he has officially signed his national letter of intent. He will begin classes in January and will be able to participate in spring practice.

The future member of the Crimson Tide says he’s used his time away from the team to get better on the field.

“I’m now 6-foot-4, 240 (pounds),” Bell told John Garcia of Scout.com.“All my lifts have gone up tremendously. I’ve been working on my speed, too. The plan is still the same, to play outside linebacker, JACK linebacker. I’ve been in communication with (Alabama outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi) lately. I was talking to Kirby (Smart) a lot when he was still there, but I talk to all of them on visits. But I can go back up there after I sign because then I’m not a recruit anymore.”

He was rated as the No. 19 overall weakside defensive end in the class of 2015.

Former Alabama defensive back Jonathan Cook signed with Memphis Wednesday on the first day of the midyear junior college signing period.

Cook spent this season at Garden City Community College in Kansas after being dismissed by Alabama in June.

Great day to be a Memphis Tiger. Excited to have @iLockdown_Cook joining the TigerFam. Ready to take the #NextStep

— Mike Norvell (@Coach_Norvell) December 16, 2015
Cook had 61 tackles, 5.5 stops for a loss and two interceptions in 11 games for Garden City.

He was also the team's primary kick and punt returner.

While he averaged just 1.9 yards on 17 punt returns, he averaged a more respectable 23.8 yards on kick returns and returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

Wish him the best.

January is going to be a hell of a month. Recruiting insanity, play offs, and more coaching changes.

Yeah, the issue is his handle is iam_mw3, and 247 is showing tweets from _mw3_ instead.

BOL "insider" wannabe, Jos Mit, had this to say about Riley Cole:

Riley Coles own coach questions why Alabama offered. From what i know is that they like him at long snapper.. i think he will greyshirt regardless.

Nice. Add Wilson, Davis, a surprised 5*(Brown hopefully), Knott or Warrior and it will be a nice finish

Went back and tried to tally decommits over last 2 weeks. Found decommit/other visits @ 29 Power 5 programs, so at least 44% teams been hit.

We can still finish with the #1 class. Our biggest challenger, LSU, is losing people too.
