Here is a breakdown of the top five uncommitted Southeast prospects and two who have made pledges, but will look around leading up to National Signing Day.
quote:
1 LB Ben Davis
Gordo, Ala.
The Skinny: Davis has not named a leader, but it's going to be hard to keep the five-star away from Alabama. Davis may wait until January's Under Armour All-American game to announce his decision, so things could change before that time.
If today were Signing Day ... Davis would likely sign with Alabama. He will take his five official visits, though, so those trips may change his mind.

2 ATH Demetris Robertson
Savannah (Ga.) Christian
The Skinny: The deeper we've gotten into the fall, the cloudier the picture has become for Robertson, who seems fairly wide open. He maintains that Stanford and Alabama are among his favorites, but Georgia, California, Notre Dame and others remain in the mix.
If today were Signing Day ... Robertson is working hard in the classroom to make sure his high academic options are a reality, but as of right now, Alabama would be his destination.

quote:
3 LB Lyndell Wilson
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver
The Skinny: Auburn, Georgia, Alabama and others remain heavily involved in Wilson's recruitment. The two in-state programs seem to be the linebacker's most likely landing places, though, he will likely take all five official visits.
If today were Signing day ... Wilson has not named a leader, but Alabama has to like where it is positioned. Auburn, Georgia or another could come on strong when Wilson hits the road for visits. Still, he seems to be Bama's to lose at this point.

So Rivals is projecting us to land the #1 uncommitted prospect in the Mid-South region and the top 3 uncommitted prospects in the Southeast region.

Three-star Alabama commit Chris Owens, a senior football player from Lamar High School, was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game at Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas today. The event was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game.
Owens is one of more than 90 players selected to compete in the ninth annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country's top high school seniors. The 2016 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 2 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl and will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon ET.
"To me, (being selected for the Under Armour Game) means a lot," said Owens. "It means my hard work and dedication have paid off. When I was younger I always looked up to those guys on ESPN playing, so I said one day I want to be there. Finally being there now is kind of unreal to me."

Seeing what our front seven is doing right now, seeing how our guys are all being favored by scouts, seeing how much we could potentially lose after the season and seeing the available playing time, I just don't understand how we don't have at least 4 commitments from the top D-linemen in the nation. I honestly feel we should have 2 DT commits and 2 DE commits from 5*s. Just my opinion though.

shite. I don't care if Marlon Davidson is tGOAT DE/DT. If he gets injured/changes his mind/doesn't pan out, y'all are so screwed.
Yep. We're seeing that with Lawson right now. It's remarkable how our recruiting is going. I can't begin to explain it

quote:Well I'm hoping for another epic meltdown season from Auburn. Another O for in November. If Gus is fired I hope you guys keep Muschamp so that you hold on to recruits, that is going to be rich.

BJ Emmons's team played last night with weather postponing the game Friday night. They played a conference foe and won the game 76-20. Lets just say the team they played is not the best in the conference. I believe BJ only played in the 1st qtr. He still had 101 yards on 8 caries and 2 TDs. They play their big rival on Friday on the road who is also ranked. Probably the reason they let him rest for most of the game.
The interesting note from the game was their kicker who went 10-11 on extra points which is a new state record in a game. UA may need to extend an offer to HER as well.

The 79th annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas is set for Dec. 19 and, with the release of the rosters on Monday, the game will include some of the nation's top talent. In the past, this game has featured stars such as Jadeveon Clowney, Todd Gurley and Pharoh Cooper. With several Rivals250 players set to play for both the North Carolina and South Carolina squad, this year is no different.
But what jumps off the page from the roster release? Here are five things to know:
quote:
3. North Carolina's DL features national stars
For many years now, the state of North Carolina has been producing excellent defensive linemen. This year's group of Shrine Bowl defensive linemen is led by five-star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (above). The No. 3 overall player in the Rivals100 has been having an outstanding season. Rivals250 defensive end Nick Coe is continually expanding his pass rush move arsenal and he will be tested at the Shrine Bowl. On the South Carolina side, four-star offensive lineman John Simpson, massive Georgia Southern commit Drew Wilson and a few others will look to slow down a very talented North Carolina defensive line.

4. Two top RBs are set to battle
With players such as the aforementioned Gurly, along with Marcus Lattimore, Andre Ellington and many more having played in the game in the past, the Shrine Bowl has a bit of a reputation to maintain when it comes to top-notch running backs. This year's game will feature a pair of Rivals250 prospects in B.J. Emmons (Alabama commit, above) and Tavien Feaster (Clemson commit) suiting up on opposite sides of the field. Emmons figures to be the bell cow for the North Carolina squad, and the speedy Feaster will likely go into the game as the top-ranked player on the South Carolina squad. It will be fun to watch the two both in practice and in the game, and the performance of both will go a long way into figuring out their final spots in the rankings.

Eddie had a great visit to Florida with father and brother. All of a sudden they are a player for him because of distance, need and tradition. He is thinking about them seriously. But Bone and others think he still lands with us.

Wilson named Florida as his leader and listed us fourth. :
Think he's trolling.

Demetris Robinson: Yup I think we have become favorites for him again.
Dexter Lawrece saw highlights of two of his games. Was not impressed at all. Is he NG? He is big and slow. Can someone check him out and see what you think? I wanted him really bad but not so sure now.
