I agree with you but I doubt they move our most experienced corner anywhere. He played too good last year.

I am not sure where this stuff about his grades are coming from. They seem to be no where as bad as UGA fans are making it out to be. What I have heard from a friend that works at his HS is that Emmons felt a little unsure with the coaching changes at UGA. Bobo was who he had built a relationship with and just weeks after he committed Bobo left for CSU. UGA also had issues getting a RB coach until Feb.
In May Saban called him personally and offered and a few weeks later he decommitted from UGA. His mother really likes the idea of her son playing for Saban and at UA. That is why I asked the other day if his mother made the visit with him to campus.

Someone on BOL said Allan Walters dad played baseball at Bama and that his parents are big Bama fans.

I wonder what this does to Jack West. I had already penciled him in as our Class of 2018 QB.

Last 3 CBs have been for Louisville.

His CBs are a little interesting.
He has 3 picks in for Michigan (2 from Rutgers people, 1 from a Michigan guy) and 1 for Rutgers (from another Rutgers guy), and now the one to Alabama from South.

We offered a 2017 OLB/DE from Jackson, MS, yesterday. He is the younger brother of former LSU player, Derrick Odom. You may remember Odom due to him being kicked off the LSU team for performing wrassling moves on a vehicle while drunk one night.
DE Aaron Odom Highlights
He'll probably end up at Ole Miss though. Calloway has become an Ole Miss feeder school recently.

Florida State opened its second major camp of the summer Wednesday, with players from all over the country in attendance. FSU has offers to several of the players on hand. Here is an update on the recruitment of some of the top prospects from day one.
There are a lot of schools in play for 2017 Rivals250 linebacker Jaden Hunter. Florida State seems to be in the middle of the pack for the Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake star and Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Clemson, UCLA and Tennessee in the mix, too. Hunter visited Clemson as few weeks ago and really wants to visit Georgia and LSU before the end of this month.

1 DE Marlon Davidson
Greenville, Ala.
The Skinny: Davidson is considering a number of different programs. Alabama and Auburn are heavily in the mix. Georgia, Florida State, LSU and others are also involved in some fashion. Davidson has family ties to Auburn, as his brother played football for the Tigers and now works for the program.
If today were Signing Day ... Wrestling Davidson away from the Tigers is going to be mighty difficult. Alabama has some pull with the top defensive end, as the staff has built a solid relationship with both Davidson and his inner circle. That said, it seems unlikely that he would spurn the Tigers if he were forced to make the call today.

3 ATH Demetris Robertson
Savannah (Ga.) Christian
The Skinny: Robertson was committed to Alabama for the better part of a year before opening up his recruitment. Right now, Stanford appears to be in the best position to land the versatile athlete. However, just because he spurned the Tide once doesn't mean they are out of the picture. Robertson has maintained that they are still very much in the mix and lists them right near the top with the Cardinal. Georgia is also a factor and Robertson is set to visit campus with his mother this weekend. A solid trip could help the Dawgs make up ground.
If today were Signing Day ... When Stanford joined the mix for Robertson earlier this year, he was so excited that it was almost if he were ready to commit at that moment. With an extended visit to The Farm set for later this month, the Cardinal remain the most likely destination for Robertson.

5 LB Ben Davis
Gordo, Ala.
The Skinny: Davis is planning to wait until National Signing Day to announce his commitment and has been pretty coy about what he may be thinking in recent weeks. He intends to take official visits to Florida State, USC, LSU and two other schools this fall, but Alabama is the team to beat in this race. Davis' father is the Tide's all-time leading tackler and the allure of Bama is strong in his case.
If today were Signing Day ... Davis to Alabama isn't a lock, but it certainly seems likely. The Crimson Tide don't normally miss on in-state prospects like Davis that have emotional ties to the home-state school. Davis was born in Arizona and lived there until he was in fifth grade. Still, he's not seen as a serious threat to attend college on the West Coast.
