Two of the classiest players I ever met. If hurts has their attitude he should flourish at UA

“I’ll do what I have to do to win games,” Hurts said. “If that’s what I have to do, I’ll do it.”

Whats the consensus on Mack Wilson and Ben Davis? Do we feel like we have a good shot at landing them?

REALLY REALLY good shot. Would be a shocker to lose either.

From Barton Simmons:

Hurts now 4 for 5. Connects on another out route. Delivers the ball really quickly. Like this kid. One more play now about 12 yards out from the FL.
Shows patience and makes a nice decision to hit an underneath route for a nice gain. 5 for 6.
Add Hurts to one of my top sessions of the day

He will not be at Bama. Kicker that is.

Why didn't we offer the stud juco kicker on the spot? Dude sounds elite, now he will end up at UF or Miami....just seems like a no brainer?

Where is he going to play? Wouldn't him and Griffith be in the same class?

I'd rather get McCann.

I think Griffith should find his way to the bench unless he redeems himself this year. We should have signed the kid as a motivation for Griffith to get it together. I am not optimistic.
With the way that poor kicker play has cost us, I would have no problem having multiple kickers on scholarship. FSU just had two kickers commit on the same day for the same class.

The Gators coaching staff may not have to wait long to hear back from Pineiro, who has hit a 65-yard field goal, because the kicker is heading back home to talk about a potential decision.
“I’m driving back to Miami now and I want to sit down with my mom and dad and see what they think about everything,” Pineiro said. “I’m going to be honest with you I want to make a decision soon and I really really have strong interest in Florida.”
INSIDERS TAKE: I would be shocked if Pineiro didn’t make a call to Florida within the next day or two to let them he has had made a decision. Pineiro is ranked No. 1 overall by some kicking sites and No. 3 by others so the Gators would be getting a good one if they are able to land Pineiro.

C'mon Chatta, give the kid a break. He was playing with excruciating back pain.
