There has been a glaring issue with the East offense this week that, unless it is fixed for Saturday, will drastically affect their ability to move the football. No matter who the East has put at center, snaps are not getting back to the quarterback with any consistency. Alabama commit Dallas Warmack, Ohio State commit Matthew Burrell Jr., Auburn commit Kaleb Kim and even Clemson offensive tackle commit Jake Fruhmorgen have all been tried in that role. If they are not able to get clean snaps off in practice, though, how will they make it happen under the glare of the Alamodome lights?

Some teams added to their top recruiting classes on Friday, while others will have to chalk up the Under Armour All-American Game as a missed opportunity.
So which teams won, and which teams lost with the UA announcements?
WINNER: Alabama
Earlier on Friday, some guy, [link url="https://247sports.com/Article/Fifteen-Predictions-for-the-New-Year-in-College-Football-34367227”]ahem[/link], predicted that Florida State would pass Alabama in the final recruiting class standings because the Seminoles were in play for more recruits.
But that was before Friday’s results that saw Alabama spring a surprise commitment from Fort Bend (Texas) Marshall cornerback Kendall Sheffield, the No. 3 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite threw a curveball in picking the Crimson Tide, despite a 247Sports Crystal Ball that was overwhelmingly in favor of Texas A&M.
The No. 18 overall player in the Composite, Sheffield joined with Shades Valley (Ala.) defensive tackle Daron Payne, the No. 41 overall player and the No. 6 tackle in the Composite, to give the Crimson Tide a stellar two-man haul on the day. More than that, Payne is a great scheme fit as a nose tackle in Alabama’s defense, while Sheffield continues Alabama’s efforts to rebuild what was an elite secondary prior to the last year or two.
Also, consider this: Alabama came into Friday with the nation’s top recruiting class. But Sheffield (No. 3) and Payne (No. 6) represent two of the top six recruits in the Crimson Tide’s class to date. The rich, as they say, get richer. Significantly richer, as Alabama looks poised to land yet another No. 1 class.

SAN ANTONIO – 247Sports has compiled the U.S. Army All-American All-Combine Team from Friday’s National Combine. While the event was loaded with talent, this list is based strictly on the performances from Friday.

Jake Bentley, Opelika (Ala.) High School (Class of 2017): Bentley was one of the bigger prospects in attendance, looked the part and threw it well too. He doesn't miss often and he has the arm to make every throw. Though he hasn't started full time yet, Bentley has a host of major offers including Auburn and Clemson.
I assume this kid is Auburn bound?

Barnett's top targets this week have been five-star cornerback Iman Marshall and five-star running back Damien Harris. Marshall, a fellow West Coast native, roomed with Barnett this week in Orlando, giving the five-star quarterback ample time to work his pitch. Most expect Marshall to go to a West Coast college, but he is strongly considering taking his last official visit to Alabama.
"Blake has been on me real well," Marshall said. "He's been talking about Alabama (saying) 'Come to Alabama, it's the place to be.'"
Barnett feels good about the likelihood of Harris joining him at Alabama. Harris is expected to make his decision on Jan. 9 and is primarily considering Alabama, Kentucky and Ohio State.

Don't worry, the kid from Saraland who many consider to be the the top QB in the country for '18 is a Bama lock.
Jack West is the name, here are his highlights:

What are our chances with 2016 prospects Marlon Davidson, Ben Davis and Mack Wilson?

Texas got Devonaire Clarington. Still think he'll be a big time TE.

Yep. But why not just wait on Charlot? I think he flips to us if Charlot flips to LSU.

His parents don't want him at Bama. From the sounds of it, he called CNS to commit yesterday and then called him this morning to say that he wasn't committing.
