5. Jenkins and Richmond- Penn State offensive tackle commit Sterling Jenkins and Ole Miss offensive tackle commit Drew Richmond both have had their struggles with the defensive line talent during the practice sessions. What people have to keep in mind with these two prospects is that they have very high ceilings and offensive line in general, particularly offensive tackle, is a developmental position. So, as long as they develop properly at their respective schools (and both staffs have a good track record of doing so), then they can end up being two of the better in college football. Now, that’s not to say that there won’t be a two-star developmental player, a JUCO guy that took up football on that level or a converted defensive lineman that won’t end up being just as good or better when all is said and done, but that’s the nature of this position. It’s a crapshoot. Betting on Jenkins and Richmond, no matter how far they have to go as players, is a good bet.

Charlot has caught the ball well and always uses his hands and keeps the ball off his body. His route running has been good, not great, but above average, and his short area quickness to make people miss has been good in this limited setting. Charlot is known for having strong hands and he showed them a couple of times where he beat the defender to the ball and held on despite the defender getting his hand on the ball.

Quiet but effective – Rico McGraw is big but not huge, he's fast enough but not a burner, he does everything well but nothing spectacular. He had that kind of day on Tuesday. He was lining up at cornerback and was just always in a position to make things tough on receivers and cornerbacks, always in his opponent's hip pocket.

It could also put Kris Boyd back in play in a big way for the Aggies, especially if Kendall Sheffield chooses Alabama on Friday at the Under Amour All-America Game. Florida State is out of it for Sheffield, meaning it's basically down to the Crimson Tide and Aggies.

A source with knowledge of the situation told me this week that Davis tried to commit to the Seminoles at one point, and while the staff didn't turn him down, they clearly didn't welcome him with open arms. Even though the Seminoles are no longer in the running for Kendall Sheffield, they remain a player to flip Minkah Fitzpatick from Alabama and possibly land five-star cornerback Iman Marshall as well.
So according to these reporters Minkah is scared to go to the same school as Sheffield, but he'd be perfectly fine with going to the same place as Marshall?

The donkey gif has been placed in the OP for when we get some commitments this weekend. Figured I'd put it in a place where people wouldn't have to go looking for it.

The West defensive line is definitely a bright spot led by Kahlil McKenzie and Keisean Lucier-South, but the offensive line seemed to make some strides on Tuesday. Javon Patterson had some nice reps at guard. He has had moments when he depends too much on his upper body strength, which is top-notch, but when he keeps his feet moving he has shown he can compete with the best of them. Chidi Valentine-Okeke has also had some flashes. He's still raw but he has made some real strides over the last few days. Jerry Tillery may have had the two best moments with a pancake in one-on-ones and another during team drills. Tristen Hoge had a nice stuff of McKenzie in one-on-ones and Zach Okun had the best Monday. It has not all been pretty, but improvement seemed to be made on Day 2 for the West offensive line.

The rainy conditions on Tuesday made it difficult for the quarterbacks bounce back after a subpar Day 1 practice. Rivals100 quarterbacks Blake Barnett, Brandon Wimbush and Kyler Murray were still erratic and had difficulty finding openings to fit the ball into. Rivals250 Florida State commit De'Andre Johnson had similar problems. Rivals100 Baylor commit Jarrett Stidham sat out of practice with a minor leg injury and is expected to practice on Wednesday. Rivals100 Florida State commit Deondre Francois had the best day out of any of the quarterbacks, but everyone is still underachieving.

There are major differences in the quality of the offensive lines on Team Highlight and Team Armour. Drew Richmond and Toby Weathersby have been anchoring the Team Highlight offensive line and are having a lot of success against some of Team Highlight's best defensive linemen. Josh Wariboko has also performed well. The only offensive lineman on Team Armour that has had a lot of success is Maea Teuhema, and he sat out of the second half of the Tuesday's practice. Jack Jones was good Tuesday, but the rest of the Team Armour offensive line has struggled mightily throughout the first two practices. Even the Team Armour centers are having problems snapping the ball.

9. DT Daron Payne
Birmingham (Ala.) Shades Valley
Payne is an absolute load for any offensive lineman and when he used good hand technique it was tough for anyone to contain him. He used a number of different pass-rushing moves to beat the man in front of him and it's always impressive to see him use his great strength to split double teams. The leverage Payne plays with and the power he has in his lower body helps him generate a ton of push up the middle. Payne will be deciding between Auburn and Alabama on Friday.

12. DB Minkah Fitzpatrick
Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep
Fitzpatrick might have the best instincts of any defensive back on Team Armour. The Alabama commit stayed in the hip pocket of every wide receiver he went against and was very physical with any receiver in his vicinity. Fitzpatrick broke up his fair share of passes during the one-on-one session and didn't see many passes come his way during the 7-on-7 period.

1. DE Byron Cowart
Seffner (Fla.) Armwood
Cowart is on a mission to regain the No. 1 spot in the rankings and through two days the five-star defensive end has been fantastic. Once again, Cowart was aggressive, ferocious and relentless during all kinds of drills. He overpowered some offensive tackles and then used his speed and athleticism to get around others. Cowart is always around the ball and is good for a few big hits each practice. Florida, Auburn, Florida State and others remain in the mix.

4. OT Drew Richmond
Memphis (Tenn.) University School
Richmond has proven to be the most consistent and skilled offensive tackle on Team Highlight through two days and he handled every defensive end that challenged him on Tuesday. The five-star Ole Miss commit is technically sound, has a great punch, excellent footwork and can handle people going inside or outside. He's not the most overtly physical offensive tackle ever but Richmond does everything really well and hardly ever gets beaten.

6. WR Calvin Ridley
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch
In the rain, the Team Highlight quarterbacks were not throwing consistently great passes but that didn't seem to matter to Ridley, the top-rated wide receiver by Rivals.com. The bad weather didn't seem to matter at all to the Alabama commit because Ridley showed off great hands and caught everything thrown his way. Marshall was the only cornerback who could slow down Ridley at all through the team drills.
