In a system where the draft advisory board can only give you answers now of "1st", "2nd", or "Stay in school", no doubt they told him he'd be at the very least a top 64 pick.
as demonstrated today by ragland's comments you clearly get your draft status info before the bowl game. how much much credence would you put into a pre injury draft status report after you get injured? it was something that could've cost him millions if he was wrong.

Carver quarterback Jawon Pass has a long offer sheet and has reaffirmed why with his play this week. He's a true dual threat and has been quick to show that his arm is the real deal.

The rainy conditions on Tuesday made it difficult for the quarterbacks bounce back after a subpar Day 1 practice. Rivals100 quarterbacks Blake Barnett, Brandon Wimbush and Kyler Murray were still erratic and had difficulty finding openings to fit the ball into. Rivals250 Florida State commit De'Andre Johnson had similar problems. Rivals100 Baylor commit Jarrett Stidham sat out of practice with a minor leg injury and is expected to practice on Wednesday. Rivals100 Florida State commit Deondre Francois had the best day out of any of the quarterbacks, but everyone is still underachieving.

There are major differences in the quality of the offensive lines on Team Highlight and Team Armour. Drew Richmond and Toby Weathersby have been anchoring the Team Highlight offensive line and are having a lot of success against some of Team Highlight's best defensive linemen. Josh Wariboko has also performed well. The only offensive lineman on Team Armour that has had a lot of success is Maea Teuhema, and he sat out of the second half of the Tuesday's practice. Jack Jones was good Tuesday, but the rest of the Team Armour offensive line has struggled mightily throughout the first two practices. Even the Team Armour centers are having problems snapping the ball.
So has Richmond performed well or not?

4. OT Drew Richmond
Memphis (Tenn.) University School
Richmond has proven to be the most consistent and skilled offensive tackle on Team Highlight through two days and he handled every defensive end that challenged him on Tuesday. The five-star Ole Miss commit is technically sound, has a great punch, excellent footwork and can handle people going inside or outside. He's not the most overtly physical offensive tackle ever but Richmond does everything really well and hardly ever gets beaten.

6. WR Calvin Ridley
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch
In the rain, the Team Highlight quarterbacks were not throwing consistently great passes but that didn't seem to matter to Ridley, the top-rated wide receiver by Rivals.com. The bad weather didn't seem to matter at all to the Alabama commit because Ridley showed off great hands and caught everything thrown his way. Marshall was the only cornerback who could slow down Ridley at all through the team drills.

10. ATH Ray-Ray McCloud III
Tampa (Fla.) Sickles
McCloud was used more often in the offense on Tuesday and he's a threat every single time he has the ball in his hands. The Clemson commit was utilized on a bunch of screen passes and short throws near the line of scrimmage and then blockers would open things up moving down the field. McCloud, a five-star prospect by Rivals.com, is so fast that he can break big plays every time he touches the ball.

I hope Daylon Charlot watched that prolific LSU offense against Notre Dame today.

The Under Armor practice is currently airing on ESPNU.

I hope Ragland stays. He could be a first rounder next year if he polishes up his game. I think Saban can convince him to stay, but if he has a top two round grade, who knows? Maybe he needs the money now.

The pissing contests from rival recruiting sites over these all star games is hilarious.

I believe you all know my policy. I hate to miss on some guys, but it never really bothers me because Saban still gets more than we need.
But man it'd really up the melt if someone mentioned Fournette lost more games this season than he would in his entire career at Bama.

Ragland's family isn't in a big need for money, one of his uncles use to bball in Europe for a few years. Average family.

Some guy talking about their DC possibly leaving to go to TAM said he was worried because Chavis knows all 4 plays they run..... and will have the inside track on stopping them next year!

Then hopefully he stays. We have always brought back at least one experienced ILB under Saban.

Deon Cane and Ray Ray on the same team with Deshaun Watson! Dabo is going to have some kind of offense. Their defense has become pretty salty too. Can we steal Ray Ray??
