I'm getting the feeling that Moton may be who gets that spot we all want Tim Settle to fill.

A poster on TSWSNBN posted that Trent Thompson is visiting

It'd be nice to land Thompson but I just don't see it.

I think that's accurate. Stupid handlers

I'll be happy when he commits to UGA where we only have to play him as a freshman or possibly in tSECCG. The thought of him being on Auburn and playing him every year is downright scary

Moton could be a fantastic pick up. We just don't have any Junior film to watch.

Yeah he is a complete unknown. I hope that Lester Cotton comes to the camps. If Moton can win a rep or two against Cotton you know he is legit.

I don't know how to feel.
But things are looking good with Richmond.

Question for you guys, why no interest in Jalen Thompson early? He reminds me a lot of Duke Dawson who Saban offered later in process. Does Saban offer guys he thinks could play solely in the Nickel.

Really want Richmond in this class.
Magilla is excited about George Brown Jr too. I haven't watched his film so I can't comment on his ability.
We just got home from an out of town baseball tournament so I've been checking while on the road.
We did go to Shoshone Falls on our way home today and it was amazing. 50 feet taller than Niagara falls.

Yeah, he's got potential as a redshirt and then build him up guy.

I think it's due to his height personally. He's listed as 5'11" which we all know means he's probably around 5'9" to 5'10".
Saban probably wants to get him into a camp setting where he can measure how tall he truly is. I don't believe he came to either of our Junior Days so he wasn't measured then.
Our staff likes taller corners.

I think our staff is a little hesitant because of his size. I am starting to wonder if Cyrus Jones trying to play Mike Evans has made our staff a little leery of offering the smaller guys. Thompson is a beast, but he's going to have to prove that he can overcome his height (and weight?) deficiency. I know we told another undersized in-state corner to come back in the summer and gain weight before we would consider offering him.
We have offered two other 5'10 cornerbacks this cycle, but they are out of state prospects. For out of state guys we give out "offers" that are more like camp invitations. When a guy is a home state kid we won't do that because we don't want to burn bridges within the state.

Charles Power and Trevor Hewitt from BOL both put in CBs for Jackson Harris and TD Moton to Alabama this afternoon.
Jackson will announce this week.
Power also put in a CB for Clarington to Miami. Sorry ABDIW.

Oh well. It was always a hope anyway. It's not like Hentges/Harris is a bad TE class. It's one of, if not THE best.

I can live with that

Power also CB'd Cornell to Ohio State, along with half of the 247 analysts.
