Maybe the announcement is that the lady who rides a unicycle and flips bowls to her head will be the permanent halftime show. Would be awesome. Loudest cheers I heard during the Grant era

She is everywhere. I swear I saw her at Grizzlies game and a Bama game within the same week once

I thought she supposedly retired a couple years ago but maybe the money was too good not to come back?

I remember those, they missed the point to.
These things need to have the feel of a rap concert meets Harlem Globetrotters event and be geared 95% to the students and youth.

U do know that it is the wealthy alums who help prop up an atheletic department right? You cant just cater 5% to them. That goes for FB too. You think 95% of the fans in the arena are students?

U do know that Midnight Madness.... is usually mostly a student event... being at MIDNIGHT, sure some families make a day of it and let the kids stay up, but the olds... even at Kentucky, Kansas or Florida are usually in the minority at those events.
Besides, there's a plethora of other ways to cater to the wealthy alums that aiming one thing specifically at students won't hurt anything.
