If either Washington or oregon loses and we beat Georgia. I don't see any way we don't get in but it's all up to where Georgia drops if they lose. However if Georgia loses and is still top 4 that will dispel a lot of bullshite that the committee said in the past.

The committee claims to evaluate only what has happened thus far so the conference championship games (or lack thereof for Ohio State) hasnt been factored in yet. They simply have 11-1 OSU over 11-1 Bama right now. I dont think there is a chance they would have 11-1 OSU over 12-1 SECC Bama if that happens next week. Ohio State is not a problem for Bama.

Yeah none of this matters until we beat Georgia and have the final reveal. However, it would be nice not to have to rely on hoping we get in over Oregon if they beat Wash.

If this Alabama team beats Georgia but doesn't make the field, the inferior conferences can enjoy their asterisk playoff. The SEC going to eat in the 12-team playoff. It may be their last opportunity to win one, especially once the SEC expands to add the last few Deep South teams of note when the ACC falls apart.

I can see the committee pushing the Michigan and tOSU narrative that they are the 2 best teams in the nation bullshite narrative.
Noone except us wants Bama to win another championship and Noone except UGA fans wants to see them 3 peat.
Seems like I remember a similar argument with us and a conference championship winner a few years ago when we didn't win the SECC.
I can absolutely see the committee leaving us and UGA out of the playoffs out of spite using that reasoning. The SEC/Bama hate is very real.

If we beat UGA we are in, our Resume is far better than UGAs at that time. Oregon and Wash. are jokes, FSU without that QB is a joke, I hope they do get in we will crush them, the SEC champ is not getting left out, the computers have us mostly at 3, 4 or 5 now. An UGA win skyrockets that.
