This team has proven time and time again that they know how to step up in big moments against tough competition. The biggest goal for our team will be to stay in the moment and locked in. If we can stay in the moment and in our Bama bubble, that is going to allow us to have a great competition Thursday to have the opportunity to compete again on Saturday."

Came in .100 behind Kentucky but enough to advance to the region finals on Saturday. Need to be one of the top two there to make it to nationals.

Today at 5 pm on ESPN+ (same time as softball). Gotta be in the top two today to advance. With Oklahoma in this region, that pretty much leaves one spot and no margin for error if the ladies want to advance to the elite eight.

Bama was seeded 2 in this regional and finished in fourth. Great season or a disappointment?

I’ll give Johnston a pass in year 1. Bama was #8 but only .01 ahead of Kentucky who came in at #9 so that’s not a tremendous upset. Oklahoma counting a 9.3 and still beating us by .400 shows the gap in being good vs being great. Ohio State was #16 and bested us as well, so I’d consider today a disappointment.
