So Kentucky could end up with 9 players in the 2017 class? Wow

Jesus Christ basketball is a shite show with all this transferring. The NCAA has to do something about this. With Kentucky having an entirely new roster every year and 2-3 kids transferring every year from a program, how in the hell can any team build a program that is stable?

Yeah it's becoming a little ridiculous. They need to require players to stay at least 2 years in college before going to the NBA, and then make a rule regarding transfers

North Carolina never has anyone leave. Maybe letting players take fake classes is the trick

I think u may be on to something. I saw a pic of a NC player and it showed a graphic with his GPA which was a 1.1. It was from a news channel or something. Everyone was saying it was real

I'd love for them to do a baseball type HS jump or wait 2 years system.

If you fix the jump from HS to NBA, this would fix a lot of the transfer issues. Only change I'd make is that grad transfers still sit out a year but I'd be okay with them being given an extra RS year if needed (aka RS JR transfer can be a RS RS SR w/o injury)

Key was our second leading rebounder last year. He's fine at the 4. Plus having big wings like Dazon, Petty, and Riley fills the gap

Auburn will be "in it" for Brooks, but probably nothing more than a "UNC passed/filled up" option.

We never felt good about him. We also never made him a priority/can't miss recruit on our end

I wonder how much his mom got? Honestly it wouldn't take much to get me to UNC. If you could get Mike to throw me 6-8 pair of retros in my choice of color per year, I'd sign

You almost have to stop giving a shite about school and stop going to classes to gave a 1.1 GPA.

So I take it no transfers have even considered us yet? Kind of depressing news...

I just don't think we're an attractive destination for a grad transfer at the moment. We've already got 10 players who will definitely be in the rotation, and most guys aren't looking to spend their final year of eligibility barely playing on a bubble team.

Honestly I think our number one priority should be signing a transfer point guard who can sit out this year and then take over when Sexton leaves.

Cecil said earlier he doesn't think we're looking for a guard...but I'm assuming he means we're not looking to add a grad transfer guard. Maybe they're looking at a regular transfer guard who can sit a year

I worry we'll get one good year with Sexton and then be back to NIT level

Worry a little about that too if we can't recruit consistently. Having a deep tourney run would be great with Sexton, but I'd also like consistent tournament appearances after that.
