It's easy to forget how devastating our bad rebounding was just a year before.

No... No it isn't

I don't think we'll be able to replace his rebounding, but hopefully our new guys getting his minutes can offset his loss by being better offensively.

Excellent point. Let's hope the need for offensive rebounds is much less

I actually like his game...I just wish he would rebound better. Also in that game he was the only big they had so his guy got a lot of dunks as he rotated. He isn't perfect but he makes the right passes. Looks like he knows the game. Reminds me of nick Jacobs..............

This is the problem. He fouls way too much, and I didn't see much improvement in that area of his game from year 1 to year 2.

I would be fine with Riley being a rotation guy and maybe even starting some games. He's just too streaky shooting and poor attacking the basket that he's not a guy you want to rely on game in game out.

I can see that comparison. Hopefully if we get him, we can get his AAU teammate Woodard too (he didn't play in that game I shared I think). Add a guard like Moss and that would be a good class.

Rather I want Fleming or not really depends on how many spots we have. Considering we aren't recruiting but one point guard who we are a long shot to get, I have to think Avery really expects two years from Sexton.

He only averaged 2.5 fouls per game. Him splitting time with Jimmie was the reason he didn't average more minutes.

Sexton gone IMO. I'd take Fleming. I think he will be a all Sec player when he becomes a upper classman. The kid has skills. He just needs to get in shape and learn to box out.

Y'all think part of Davis leaving is due to concerns about PT? I can see a lineup where he'd be odd man out and his minutes would be reduced.

Yea he had a hard time cracking the lineup this year. Now it was his fault because he wasn't making shots and when he started playing better he got more time but I think Petty got him a lil afraid lol.

That stat surprised me. It seemed like he was in foul trouble all the time.

I just checked my Bracketology post on the Rant........what did I start

Also, Auburn fans REALLY are scared we're gonna have a special team next year lol I've never seen so much delusion in a fanbase saying we're not gonna make the NCAA tourney next year

Meh, who cares what they think. They're going to have a very narrow mind when it comes to Alabama, just as we are when it comes to them. frick them though.

I could see us not making the tournament. I think we'll get in on the bubble slightly worse than Arkansas this year, but Chin has been melting about us since AU lost to Missouri.

He's trolling I guess. The optimistically part of this quote makes it ridiculous.

I think he's mad bc for the past few weeks, it's been constant talk about Alabama basketball, whether it's about Collin Sexton or preseason rankings, were mentioned in a ton of stuff now. They were supposed to become a #BasketballSchool under Pearl and now no ones talking about them

He should be mad at Auburn not us. They had all of the momentum in the state and just pissed it all away.

Can't blame him the classes that he has coming in are very impressive. Probably doesn't get as much excitement because they aren't from Bama. I'm talking about the pg and of they got from Game before y'all go correcting me.

Had there ever been this much talk about Alabama basketball while spring football practice is going on? I've honestly heard more about basketball than football and usually this time of the year is dominated by spring football. I guess it's possible that there could've been a lot of talk during the Wimp and Gottfried days but I'm not old enough to remember
