Yeah I saw Collin do that too. Wide open layup but missed bc he tried to go between the legs with the ball. I think he was just showing out since it was an All Star game. Jerry Meyer said on twitter that the McDonald's game usually has bad shooting. That's probably nothing to worry about

There's no probably about it. It's an all star game. Let them have some fun. The point is to entertain the fans not win. No one wants to watch an all star game of routine layups.

BOL had a VIP update on Javian Fleming. He said we're the only school that's contacted him lately and we've been talking to him about every other day.
That alone sounds like we are the clear leader for him

I thought he played hard. Good luck to him.

Just to pump the breaks on the hype train a bit, we now only have five scholarship guys returning not counting Giddens

I'm pretty low on Javian Fleming. I'm not even sure he can dunk. His highlights aren't impressive honestly.

But 4 of those were our best players last year. Key, Ingram, Hall, and Norris. Avery Jr is the other one.

At least the off-season will be a little more exciting now

Yea I hope we get a grad transfer.

Hall and AJ Jr weren't good enough this past season. Riley just isn't athletic enough. Right now I think we'd be relying on the young guys too much

So with us losing three wings, we will surely look to add one.
Right now on the transfer tracker I've got:
SG Elijah Brown - New Mexico
SG Al Freeman - Baylor
SG Rashad Muhammad - Miami
SG Cameron Johnson - Pitt
All would be eligible immediately

Good thing is, it looked like Hall got better throughout the year. Riley may not be athletic, but he's always going full speed and plays good defense. Can be a good all around Player when he's hitting shots.

Cameron Johnson is best pick I think clearly. Pittsburgh Post Gazette
He's 6'8", would have two years of eligibility left, and averaged 11.9 ppg on 41.5% from 3.

Lunardi has us as a 10 seed

I would like us to pursue him and Bolden very hard.

Bolden came out and he said he's staying at Duke.

Would really love to get Freeman. Big guard with decent handles who is a near 40% 3-Pt shooter and an > 80% FT shooter.

Hall averaged 6 PPG on 65% FG, 1.4 BPG and 5.5 RPG in under 20 MPG. While that's not quite what we expected, that's still solid when considering the pace we played at. He's also going to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of an increased tempo and a PG that looks to get the big men the ball.
Riley might be the most stereotyped player in Bama history. He's actually very solid defensively and spent a lot of time guarding the opposing team's best wing last year. He's also not that unathletic, he's just not a great slasher.
You have to also keep in mind that Giddens is the age of a junior and got to practice with the team last year.
Literally the only player I think we'll miss that left is Bola. We'll be fine next year. Having said that, I feel confident we'll add at least one more player (probably a grad transfer).

Yea - I think the only loss is Bola, but I think he is a big one. It's easy to forget how devastating our bad rebounding was just a year before. I don't think we'll go back to that, but Giddens has to know he is going to be counted on to be a man inside along with Donta'.
I also agree about Riley. He is what he is. He's got pretty good instincts and he's a decent athlete. He plays smart one-on-one defense and is an excellent team defender (which is a big deal in our system). He's a net positive on our team as long as he isn't asked to do too much.
