To be fair, he's a 4-star recruit on 247 and Rivals, and the only reason he's ranked so low on 247 composite is because he doesn't even have a profile on ESPN. ESPN has been the absolute worst basketball recruiting site the past few years when looking at guys outside the general consensus top 100.
Smith is a very good prospect with several high-major offers: Florida, LSU, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kansas St., Miss St., Miami, Seton Hall, St. John's, VTech, and Xavier.
He'd be a good addition regardless of what happens to Watford, Walton, and Lewis. Seen some of his tape and he looks very smooth and athletic for a 6'7" wing.

Rumors going around on BOL that we’re getting a commitment today. I’m guessing it’s Diante Smith being that we got 5 CBs yesterday

Yeah I'm not upset with this addition by any means if he does commit.
