Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron was selected to the 2025 Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List, USA Baseball announced Thursday.

Lebron is one of 45 amateur players on the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes, an award which is given annually to the top player from college and high school baseball. Following the semifinalist announcement on May 18, baseball fans can vote for their favorite players on GoldenSpikesAward.com to help determine the finalists and winner. The 2025 Golden Spikes Award winner will be announced in late June in conjunction with the end of the amateur baseball season.

Dave Magadan is Alabama's lone winner of the Golden Spikes Award, taking home the hardware following his record-setting 1983 season.

No. 8 Alabama baseball heads to No. 16 Auburn to take part in a road conference series on the Plains. The Crimson Tide will aim to rebound after a series loss to the Tigers at Plainsman Park a season ago.
