The offense has to move away from Boom or Bust

You say this but:

Their 5 scoring possessions: 7 plays, 9 plays, 5 plays, 4 plays, 8 plays. 3 long drives.

There were 4 real possessions that didn't end in scores (1 garbage time kneel down). 1 was pinned deep, 1 was pinned deep but I simply disagree that Williams didn't catch that ball that was overturned (oh well I'm not the stripes), 1 was a deflection interception, 1 was a blindside sack fumble.

They scored a TD on 50% of their possessions (55% if you take out the garbage time possession). That is usually good enough to win football games. The reason it wasn't was because the defense played such that they could not absorb the execution problems on 3 plays. They were 3 HUGE mistakes but they hardly had the ball not because of the boom-bust scheme but because the defense cannot get off the damn field and allowed Vanderbilt to shorten the ball game and keep our offense on the sidelines.

Better than 0-3 like your Auburn team.

Maybe playing music during practice isn't working out....and it looks like they spend more time practicing celebrations than learning the plays.
