That $25 million is part of the House Settlement and will be revenue sharing for the athletes, not NIL. At some point there needs to be actual legislation for what NIL actually is. It was never supposed to be "Hey we will pay you $2 million next year to be our QB." It was supposed to be "Hey Bryce Young this is Dr Pepper. Since you are a high profile athlete we will pay you $X amount to appear in our commercials this year." The NCAA should have allowed that years ago but refused so you had every state pass a half a** bill about NIL just because every other state was doing it.

Honestly, that seems like a good enough salary to get me to sign to a contract out of high school that has stipulations on being able to leave the school. Sure you were hot shite in high school but you never know how it'll go against better competition.
