I went to the old school too. 91 grad here. We may know each other.

I was trying to figure out if this was something after my time and it hit me out of nowhere what it really was. I walked over from NJHS last period in 9th to take a class at the old school. So I may be the youngest on here to know about that.

Geometry. Blanking on the teacher’s name. Not last period for me. Few years before your time.

Mrs Shaver, Coach Aaron, Coach Christian, and Mr. Ballard all made a lifelong impression on me while at NJHS.

Coach Christian always had a nickname for the boys. I received a paddling from Coach Aaron one time, didn’t do anything to get another one. What would happen if a teacher/coach did that today?

I went to "Lloyd Wood," but my wife went to Echols. I've heard her and her friends mention the "dip" before but honestly had no idea this was a universally known thing.

I used to sell sporting goods. Coach Aaron was one of my favorites.

I graduated with his son. Oddly enough, we work together now.
