Agree and also I think the kid Jahleel Billingsley,
will be a player !.He's also a big wr skill type being groomed for the TE position.
I dont know how many games he's played in. But it seems we are trying to red shirt him.
Jahleel

Three-Point Stance: Dr. Farrell, embarrassing losses, musings

quote:

3. RANDOM RECRUITING MUSINGS

quote:

... Running back Zach Evans is in the news again after a visit to Alabama and now some feel that the Crimson Tide have the lead. So this is starting to come full circle. The first team, at least that I can remember, that was thought to truly have a true lead for Evans was Alabama after his teammate Damieon George committed in June. Then it was Georgia who was a lock for his services, shortly followed after that by Texas A&M, LSU and now Alabama again. OK, Georgia was the only real lock here, but this has been a very interesting recruitment to follow and changes weekly. And it’s mostly just speculation as Evans never seems to show his cards.

What's the confidence level on Gilbert? The only thing that makes me a little nervous is he just visited UGA and his mom supposedly wants him to stay home. Hopefully he picks the good guys tomorrow, having Gilbert and Young jump on board could push this class to another level as we move toward ESD.

I thought I read we got them since the busy but either way his OVs are done and it seem the decision was ready even though timing seems to favor UGA in some sense

From the article posted this morning:
quote:

The Tide has received the last three 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for the elite tight end who is coming off an official visit to Georgia over the weekend.

That can easily mislead readers to assume Gibert got three new Bama CBs after his UGA visit. So, I've tweeked the article post:
quote:

The Tide received (on Oct 3-4) the last three 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for the elite tight end who is coming off an official visit to Georgia over the weekend.

Yep, getting Gilbert is yuge! And I agree Billingley will be really good too. He's only played 3 games, so reshirting him is still an option. And Traeshon Holden gives us another very good big receiver.

ETA: Latu should become a pretty good in-line TE and Caden Clark is also very good blocking TE, but also pretty good receiving, just not very fast.
