Why isn't DJ Uiagalelei an elite 11 QB?

Well I suppose I have grown up in the recruiting game. Seeing guys like Dj Dale start makes me hopeful for the lower end guys. I did have a mini melt over Anoma and Alfano, I mean they were two of the highest rated players Saban has signed. Im a tad worried about our receiving next year. Waddle will be back but who else can be the next star?? Will Smitty return to be the man? Does our staff feel like any of the commitments can come in and make a big impact right away? Having Trey Sanders in the backfield will help and hopefully we land Gilbert who is pretty much a big arse receiver. No melting over here

Metchie and Slade are going to be there too, that is a hell of a top 3, 4 if devonta stays.

Definitely enjoyed the

So i'm not going to make this a huge thing, but... no we really don't. We have 4 of the best 10-12 wide receivers in the country. Size really doesn't mean shite unless you are specifically talking about fades to the end zone.

Edit: I played nice in the other thread, but its hard to ignore repeated ignorant posts.
How are they ignorant?
Let's end this arguing and say

We do have the best receiving coup in the nation. Just saying that we could utilize his size in red zone plays

I find we agree on most things, I'm prob in a bad mood because it's only Wednesday

I agree, although I do think at some point you basically are either signalling he is the target or you are hurting yourself by taking an elite route technician off the field by making him a decoy.
He does seem ideal as a flanked out wr who on run plays Tua could pull the ball and toss a fade in favorable coverage.
Edit: I am actually orginally from Florida, my parents met at UA and I came here 2-3 times a year to visit family in town growing up. I've been here for 7 years now, for my undergrad and masters and now working at the university. I am around at Sypsey Valley, ACA, and Bryant football games as kids I used to mentor now play there. I haven't caught a game this year though.

I would just let Tua continue with the RPO plays

Ironically the hardest place to run rpo is near the endzone. Shavers taking an edge fade/decoy has real merit with tua's ability to read pre snap defense.

Where in Florida?
I went to Central a couple years before the city schools split to 3 different schools.
