Is Jayson Jones expected to look elsewhere?
He's been looking some. Insider chatter says he'll probably have to buy into playing OL (which he's better suited for) to remain in the class.

If Bama lands Washington and Henderson, I don't think Grimes would get a spot. According to BOL mods and insider posters, Grimes doesn't have a green light to commit yet
Suge whats your gut feeling on Henderson in this class and who is our biggest threat to land him if not us.
is it Clem , Fla, LSU , Miami.?
Also if Story is an athlete take what preferable position are we that high on him playing Wr or DB.
If so will he push Williams(DB-La)out or WR spot

Damn these injuries really hurt the instate kids. Jones and Worsham were supposed to be big time.

It appears to mainly be a 3-way battle between Clemson, Bama and UF for Henderson. Based on his remarks following his June visit, it sounds like Bama's chances are actually pretty good.
Story is very versatile -- DB, QB, WR, RB. Saban feels his best chance at an NFL career is probably DB. And since he's actually a good QB too, he can be 4th QB "insurance" for the 2020 season in case of injuries to Mac, Lia or Paul. I think Bama wants to take Story as well as Williams and Joseph. According to insiders, Javier Morton isn't likely to remain in the class.

I want Story but i just know Saban and the staff are going to try him out at every position possible.

Why do you think the staff hasn’t even offered Haynes King? No camp , or he’s not interested in us, or they don’t think he’s that good. Looks legit , just wandered why no offer

Tbh, I don't know. I've never seen him mentioned as being recruited by Bama's staff or potentially being offered. Just guessing, I suppose Bama invited him to camp and he didn't do so.

Do you have any info on X.Alford ? I really like him a little bit better than Williams . But I think Joseph is a top get .

Bama likes Alford a lot and vice versa. He and Waddle are cousins. I figure he and Story are are comparable DB prospects, but Story's versatility to play on the offensive side too (especially since it includes QB) may give him an edge over Alford. Yeah, Bama likes Joseph A LOT.

I'm thinking the serial downvoter might be RiverCityTider.

Yep, including QB.
It just seems that we dont do well with those guys who are QBs in high school but are just great athletes.

Like Blake Sims and Ardarius Stewart?

Guess i shouldve said just athlete. Guuys like BJ Scott or Ronnie Clark wouldve been good at one spot. Some guys can handle it some cant.

Id take Alford all day if we just want a safety. Kid is a ball hawk.

That dude is a smelly pirate hooker and walking ulcerous cancer, and as a person who regularly pisses off a chunk of the board, that's saying something.

I agree he's really good, but it looks like these guys plus Story (from the Mock Class post) are ahead of him on Bama's DB board:
Defensive Backs (5)
4* S/CB LINK ]Brian Branch 6-0/182 GA hudl
4* CB/S LINK ]Malachi Moore 6-0/180 AL hudl
4* CB LINK ]Jahquez Robinson 6-1.5/185 FL hudl *
4* DB/WR Joel Williams 6-1.5/180 LA hudl
4* CB Nadab Joseph 6-2/180 Juco hudl
Most, if not all of them, are versatile enough to play safety, nickel and corner, and Saban really likes having versatile DBs. Unless Bama misses or cools on one of them, I don't think Alford will be in the class.

Would hope We can land EJ Williams. That would be a big miss from the Phenix City area again.

RiverCityTider is a shite-stirring troll and has been for many years, on other Bama boards as well as this one. It would be great if nobody ever responded to his posts, but he usually manages to get a few to take the bait. He got banned from here for trolling in the recruiting thread despite repeated warning to stop. After nearly a year, one of the mod's let him back in, smh.

LINK ]Bryce Young goes in-depth on status with USC, Alabama's pursuit (BamaOnLine)

FRISCO, TX — Alabama’s primary quarterback target in the 2020 class has been and continues to be USC commit LINK ]Bryce Young.
The Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei product arrived at the Elite 11 Finals on Saturday ready to compete against the nation’s top tier signal callers, and work to further establish himself as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in America.
On the recruiting circuit, Young has kept things fairly low key since committing to the Trojans roughly 11 months ago.
“For me, I’m committed to SC,” he told BamaOnLine. “I’ve been committed for a while. Other schools have been talking to me and always communicating. You always hear people out. I feel like there’s always stuff I can learn from those heads of programs. But for me, you know, I’m committed to SC.”
Alabama’s a team that offered and showed interest in Young prior to his commitment to USC. However, once Steve Sarkisian made his way back to Tuscaloosa, Young has emerged as the Tide’s No. 1 option.
“It’s not really much of a mix to be in for me,” Young responded when asked if the Tide was legitimately in the mix for him. “My recruitment’s closed, but again, like I said, it’s always great to learn from other people and talk to them but, for me, I’m committed.”
Sarkisian and the Young family go way back to the elite quarterback’s seventh grade year. “I’ve known him for a while, known him when he was at SC, talked with him some at Washington, so that’s someone I’ve known for a while,” Young said.
“He’s a great guy, great coach, so I have a lot of respect — the utmost respect — for him, and that’s why there’s been communication with the respect that I have for him and everything like that.”
