Just peeked at the KU recruiting boards and they don't seem very confident in landing Sexton from what I could tell. They aren't melting, but there were a few disparaging comments about Sexton and Bama. They said something about losing 3 5 stars to Bama in the last 12 months. Who was the other besides Sexton & Brown?
They didn't have any info concerning his visit this past weekend, which is what I was looking for.

I don't see us getting Brown. Especially if Herb Jones is a take. With Petty still being available I don't think we would have room for all 3. Plus don't see us choosing Brown over Petty.

My God you guys don't have any idea how bad I want Bama to become a Basketball & Football School. This recruiting class can start that. Football season isn't enough Bama for me, I need November -Late March full of great Bama basketball too to hold me over!!

Distance from home (ATL) isn't a factor.
Loved the atmosphere of a basketball school.
Will make his decision late this month or early November.

Hank on BOL was asked if Bama should be worried. He said no, Bama just needs to stay on top of him. Not saying Hank knows one way or the other, just thought his comment was relevant to what you just said.

"Basketball atmosphere" seems like a key phrase there. He wouldn't just throw that around, sadly. That was said in a direct comparison to the football atmosphere with us. Makes me nervous, but first things first...land Herb and Reese.

I'm gonna go off on Sexton just a little. Hell yeah, Kansas has a basketball atmosphere. Compare that to their football program and you have almost a mirror image of Bama: legendary basketball and an historically bottom dwelling football program. Bama has the legendary football and a basketball program that has been historically competitive at least and that might be being modest. But at the present time, it's rising from the ashes of a tragic period of time. If he wants to see a basketball atmosphere closer to home, commit to Bama. You're about to see the long suffering Bama basketball contingent come out of hibernation and rock Coleman. We may never be Rupp arena or Allen Fieldhouse, but we hold our own. But we need difference makers like Sexton to...well, make a difference! We were on Sexton first; return the love. I promise you won't be disappointed. #buckleup

I don't think Reese will steal Herbs thunder and do it on Thursday, so I am hoping for tonight or Wednesday
