It's no big deal. I was just mainly wondering why other sites had articles with interviews and updates on players we were recruiting but BOL rarely does. Hank being the only one over basketball would explain that (he does a good job but he can't do it all by himself). There's just not enough people yet that wanna cover Alabama basketball and that's fine. It'll get better.

Also, I know there's a lot of "insider" posts on there for football and they're interesting to read. But there's never any about basketball. I guess maybe there's not a whole lot people can say about basketball during this time of year? Idk. I'm new to following basketball recruiting so I may be stupid for even bringing this up

I really want Sexton but I hope Avery didn't turn guys down for him. If so we are going to be left without anything pretty late in the process.

I feel good about Sexton. I just don't feel like any other schools have a bond with him like Bama does. It also helps that he's from Georgia so he'll be close to home at Bama.

As time goes on I don't feel as confident. If we had guys committed like Petty or Reese I would feel great because they would be in his ear. Also has to be hard to turn down the big schools like Kansas.

Well the good thing is Sexton wants to commit in November I think. That's only 2 months from now. He seems 100% Bama right now so I don't think his mind will change too much in 2 months. It could tho

What do you mean turn down? Like not pursue enough? Let's say Sexton goes elsewhere. Who should we have been offering that attention to? Jamal Johnson? Herb Jones? I realize that these guys are local favorites but JJ is not a program changer like CS can be and we give tons of love to HJ already. If he wants to go elsewhere so be it, but it will not be due to lack of effort on our end.

I'm talking about all the other PGs that were interested in us. Yea I want Sexton but I just believe if he was going to come here he would've done it a while ago(hope I'm wrong) and yea he may be a program changer but we can't lean on one recruit and just forget about the good guys that are interested in us. I'm just saying if he doesn't come here who is our PG recruit for this year?

I doubt we sign a PG unless one falls in our lap. Ingram is freshman. I bet we'd save the scholarship for a grad transfer and go back to the plate next year.
I understand being a little gun shy after Ferguson but we are in great shape with Sexton.

When I say he seems 100% Bama I mean he talks about us more than any other school, he says he has a good relationship with Avery, he said it was fun hanging out with our players, he always talks about how we recruited him before he became well known, and I don't really see any other real bonds or connections with other schools. At this point I think he's Bama's to lose. That's just my opinion tho, I could be way off

Plus his high school coach graduated from Bama, so im sure that's a plus as well. When it's all said and done I think he will choose Bama.

Yep. And all the crystal ball picks are for Bama. It's 100% Bama with the picks. I feel good about landing him.

It just stated that he briefly texted with Colin's brother, he said Colin had a great time. Hank will post a more detailed article on him later.
