I'm uneasy if us and UK are the finalists. That's like the situation with Damien Harris only in reverse. I don't like our chances.

We got ANOTHER crystal ball pick for John Petty. This time from Garrett Tucker. I'm starting to feel a little better about our chances.

Well fellas...that does it for me. I've gotta have all 4 players (John Petty, Collin Sexton, Alex Reese & Herb Jones), or ill be EXTREMELY disappointed. This recruiting year is absolutely make or break for Bama basketball. It could be monumental.
Saban came aboard in 2007, and what do you know, 2008 had the most in-state talent in Alabama's history. Saban nailed them down, plus got a few gems from out of state, and we've never looked back.
Avery came aboard in the 2015/2016, and what do you know, 2017 has the most in-state talent in Alabama's history. Avery has to nail down Alex Reese, Herb Jones & John Petty. He nailed out of state Daniel Giddens, who has to sit out a season, so he pretty much comes in with this 2017 class. He needs to nail down out of state Collin Sexton.
Possible 2017 Class..
4* Daniel Giddens (Alabama Commit)
4* Herb Jones (100% Crystal Ball to Bama)
5* John Petty (12% Crystal Ball to Bama, but received last 2)
4* Alex Reese (87% Crystal Ball to Bama)
5* Collin Sexton (85% Crystal Ball to Bama)
That class right there would be every bit as powerful to basketball as 2008 was to football.
Plus, Avery will be starting from a disadvantage in 2018. As of right now, we only have one 4* kid in the whole state. Looks to be a very down year in Alabama.

If we end up with those players, I will cry tears of joy bc I already know CAJ can coach them. We'll be making serious noise in the SEC and NCAA tourney if we land those guys.

Id be crying with you man. All I've ever wanted is for Bama to become a football & basketball school. It would be very fun for this state to make a football championship run every September to January, and a basketball championship run every November to March. If football is down for a year we'd have basketball to look forward to. If basketball is down for a year, we got football.
That 2017 basketball recruiting class can change everything for this program. It's that good. If we get those 5 players, 20 years from now we'll be talking about how this class changed everything and made us a basketball powerhouse.

Haha I don't have the power to do that, I'm just stating what Rivals & 247 has him as. I hope you're right though.

The only time I have ever watched Alabama in an NCAA tourney was in 2006. I was like 11 and wasn't really into Alabama basketball yet but I remember seeing bits and pieces of the tourney while my parents were watching it. I really started keeping up with it around 2009. Then 2012, we finally make the NCAA tourney and it's during school hours so I missed it. So, as u can tell, the only NCAA game I ever watched I can barely remember. I just wanna make the NCAA tourney so bad. Idc if I have school or not this year, if we make the tourney, I'm watching it.

You would have loved the Wimp years. We always had a good team, and were competitive every game.
