Possibly the Mercer game but it will probably be the Texas game
Sounds like Tommorow is a possibility and Mercer is a definite.

Nervous about today. I really don't want us to get blown out.

The NCAA committee's new stupid way of dividing the RPI into quadrants makes getting road wins vital. LINK
Quad 1: 1-30 (Home), 1-50 (Neutral), 1-75 (Away)
Quad 2: 31-75 (H), 51-100 (N), 76-135 (A)
Quad 3: 76-160 (H), 101-200 (N), 136-240 (A)
Quad 4: the rest
It could hurt us down the line because we have so many home games.

Last year under this format, a win @Pitt (16-17) would have been considered a better win than a home win against Southern Cal (26-10)

It's crazy the difference between Basketball and Football's view of road wins. In football it's barely even mentioned at the end of the year. You either beat Team A or didn't.

Good thing we've played a lot of neutral games.

I think Ayton is going to get his tonight, but if we hold Alkins and Trier to just 30 points between the 2 we should have a chance to win if Sexton has another great game and 2 of Ingram, Petty, and Hall have a solid scoring night.

the upside to all these close games is I don't think we'll get rattled if we get down. That's pretty big all things considered going into this venue.

I think Sexton is going to win us some road games that we wouldn't even have a chance of winning without him. The dude thrives in adversity like no other player I've seen at this level. It's a big reason to be excited even if we just squeak into the tournament.

Totally agree about the benefit of being in tight games. It has helped this young team and will come in handy as they grow and mature. Young teams often lose to experience due to fear or loss of composure, I've seen neither from this group. They make careless errors sometimes but they fight and don't give in.

Tonight is going to be one of those nights where Sexton is the center of everything. That doesn't mean he scored 60, but he has to collapse everything and other guys have to make open looks.

Hall and Giddens needs to play big.
I'm going to have to nap.

Sexton has to penentrate and kick out to Petty and Petty has to drain 3's and Open shots tonight. Hall and Giddens have to be huge rebounding.

Idk if y'all have noticed, but Anthony Grant has destroyed Dayton. They're losing to everyone lol. Just lost a game to the Penn Quakers...
