I hate it, but it's just not working out. I like Avery and really wanted him to do big things here.

Not really. No team drama that I know of. Knew going into the season we’d take a step back rebounding. Didn’t know how bad we’d be defensively.

I’m sorry but I watched the last half today and that Alabama team gave up, rolled over and played dead. UGA definitely let off the gas and Bama could have cut into the lead and made it a lot more respectable in the end with a little hustle, but they mailed it in. That rests solely on Avery’s shoulders. If I saw my team dogging it out there like that, they’d be sitting next to me watching while the walk-ons all played.

So I never really thought Avery was a good coach though, so if I was Bryned I would can him. I just don't think it is all on the coach

Not you Gongora, I said something similar a few pages back right after the game and some said it wasn’t effort that was lacking. No, we love your insight into the program.

Honestly, it probably is the best thing that could happen to his draft stock. How he is playing w no help makes what he is doing even more impressive

It's not helping his stats. Teams go into a game vs Alabama keyed in on him and only him. Despite what many people think, he's finding open teammates on the regular. His teammates just miss most of them.

Given his relationship to NOLA hierarchy, he’s my top choice for #Pelicans GM if/when Benson/Loomis clean house in April/May.

Wtf would make Avery qualified to be a GM?
If that happens Bama should try and hire Tom Crean. Would seal the deal on Watford + Crean is a legit high quality coach

I'm at the point that I believe we might need to tank the rest of the season, before Byrne would make a change. I hate it and I hate thinking like that. I'm just disgusted and pissed.

That’s how I finally started feeling in Grant’s final year. I wanted him to beat Auburn, but I wasn’t mad losing to anyone else. I knew it was for the best
