I don't browse this thread like I used to, but I assume everyone has seen the new article out on Bo Scarbrough.
He said the rumors over the last week were false. He's not related to Reuben Foster and hasn't talked to him since a couple of days before he switched. Foster told him then he was "100% to Alabama". He's also not transferring, as other rumors indicated. He'll wait to make a decision. Georgia and Alabama are still one and two on his list. Florida and Clemson remain there too. I only objected to him calling Clemson a "championship caliber program".

I know and I don't doubt he's high on us. I just want to see someone reporting that we lead because I don't see anything on 247 and I don't trust thesystem

Anyone in here remember a couple weeks ago when I told some AU fan all of their elite DL commits wouldn't remain commits through NSD, and I specified I wasn't just referring to Liner? Okay, just making sure......keep it tucked away in your memory banks....
Where did you get this information from?

He's spent a lot of time with other D.C./Baltimore area kids already on the roster. Along with Lance Thompson recruiting him, we're in good shape. I'm not going to get overly excited with another consensus top five player again though. Alabama's staff is not going to pander to them like other staff likely will. We've missed on similar prospects in Clowney and Nkemdiche. Hopefully this turns out better though.

What are we recruiting him as?
Posted on 7/18/12 at 5:22 pm to Vidic
A hybrid LB/DE in the most real sense of the word. He's very similar to Clowney and Nkemdiche. Someone that could really redefine how we use the Jack position.

I figured it was Jack. Would love to see a freak athlete like him/Clowney/Nkrmdiche at that position.

I think Hand ends up at Virginia Tech.

Really, really early, but I agree with this. The longer he drags it out, the more I think he'll lean towards staying close to home. I have no info backing this up, just going by how recruits tend to be

I really think Bo Scarbrough would have committed to Alabama on his original decision date (July 23rd), if he felt he was definitely a RB at the next level. The thing is, he's likely to be 6-4 230 by the time he signs. He will likely decide late to see how he would fit the WR role at Alabama. But that's just my opinion.
Posted on 7/18/12 at 5:29 pm to CapstoneGrad06
I think Bo would be better at WR. To me, he looks a little too stiff and upright for RB. He also looks more natural than I thought he would look at WR. I think he has more potential there

Exactly what he was telling the staff as of that Sunday before. He also told Tenpenny at The Opening that he was 100% committed. The switch caught a lot of people by surprise. I don't think our staff truly believed it would happen until about Tuesday before the Thursday switch.
It's just odd. I'm NOT claiming anything illegal took place. I just wish the entire story would come out (not that I know it...I just know "our" side of it).

He seems to think he will 100% play RB at Georgia or Clemson, but he said Nick Saban told him today that he'd for sure 100% play RB at Bama, so any doubt he had seemed to have been laid to rest.

From what I've heard, he's been on board since around BCW. Not sure why he announced when he did, but it wasn't a sudden decision or anything

I think it's true Saban called Foster and told him to act like a commit or go somewhere else, I heard this from the best reporter that covers Bama.Bama didn't pull his offer though like some were saying.

GMAC was one of the most accurate QBs I have ever seen. His first year as a starter he completed 60% of his passes WITH JULIO JONES. McCarron's first year as a starter WITHOUT JULIO JONES, he completed 67% of his passes. I love seeing people write off AJ and Lacy. Forget about them. They're gonna prove everyone wrong though.
Lol my bad I meant to say I havent written him off

I don't think so, Bo and Tray both seemed surprised by the flip, and they would know better than anyone which was Reuben was leaning.
