Powerball Toss
48ft (1st overall) O.J. Howard – Howard is one of the most impressive looking tight ends in the country but he has the look of a finesse body. With his power ball toss topping the list, he showed plenty of power on Friday morning and finished in the Top 10 of the SPARQ total scores.
43.5 (4th overall) Altee Tenpenny – Tenpenny is a very physically impressive running back with muscles everywhere so it’s no surprise that he was good in the powerball toss. In fact Tenpenny was good everywhere and he finished with the No. 3 overall score of the day and a spot in the finals for the second straight year.
short shuttle
4.12 (4th overall) Derrick Henry – At 240 pounds, Derrick Henry is huge and he is maybe the biggest freak athlete in this class. He had the highest SPARQ score of the morning and he was near the top of every category. A 4.52 40 was accompanied by his 4.12 shuttle time. Wait till you read his vertical.
Vertical
41.9 (1st overall) Derrick Henry – A 41.9 inch vertical at 6-3, 240 pounds is absurd. It doesn’t even seem reasonable to think that a player that big can get that high but it is no fluke. The big athlete has jumped in that range on several occasions.

Wonder who was making him feel pressured to commit.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he was told to hurry before Hunter Henry jumped on board?

From our mod:

Well as of two hours ago, Dee was playing basketball in Muscle Shoals and about to go to the mall. That's what he told me. So doubt he's in Tuscaloosa.

Dee finds the rumor amusing, he said he's sitting on his couch at home right now. So, yea.

The Auburn mods are like nervous fans. It cracks me up.

They're not all like JLee, who seems to get worse every year. Hoke, who is reporting this, is really good at what he does.

I do respect Hoke more than Lee, but honestly he went into a little too much detail. I spoke with Liner and he says he will not visit Tuscaloosa this weekend would be plenty. The rest sounds like a stalker obsessed fan.

Reuben Foster hollered "Roll Tide" multiple times during Altee Tenpenny's shuttle attempt at the Opening's SPARQ championship.

Top Shuffle Times were tied at 3.97 between Altee Tenpenny and Colin Spencer #TheOpening.

AuburnEagle and DawgRant and a bunch of AU and UGA homers will shoot that down as a big troll and say its a UGA and AU battle, Bama is out. I honestly think most think he is using his Alabama commitment to keep from choosing between UGA and AU until he is ready. To say he is firm to Alabama is clearly something you could laugh at, but I don't get into it with any idiots because it just ends with both of us saying he will be attending the school one of us is defending, also whenever he signs with Alabama they will all play it off as, "well we knew he would stay with Bama we just liked to make you sweat it out." But if by slight chance he flipped at the last second you'd think the world ended and it would make the lucky team to sign him automatic national title favorites. All I can say is that I will honor my ban bet and not post here for my time bet if I truly am wrong, wont deny there is a possibility, but too many factors will be too hard to pass up and he will stay with Alabama and be the next great Alabama LB

I would completely stay away from The Bunker if he was like Lee.

@masonkelleyESPN: Ricky Seals-Jones is wearing an Alabama hat, but don't read anything into it.

Mike Mitchell wins Sparq Championship. Altee and DHenry finish 2 and 3.
Posted on 7/6/12 at 8:44 pm to My2Bits
Henry missed his second 40yd try because of injury. Probably would have finished second.
