The above stat is rather impressive. Ole Miss slugger Tim Elko has been playing on a torn ACL since April. Which somehow has made him better? Last night, he hit two home runs, including a grand slam, in the Ole Miss' 12-9 win over Southern Miss to move on to the Super Regionals. Again, just a reminder, he's doing this with a torn ACL...

My dog tore her ACL last July. Cost four grand to have it replaced and she hasn't left the yard since. Elko going yard twice is impressive.

Baseball must be the only sport that you can play with a torn ACL. DH so you don't have to run in the field, and you only have to run in a straight line from base to base.

Average down significantly. Not sure he is hitting better. Maybe for more power

I mean, he can’t run bases so he’s up there trying to hit a HR every at bat. The fact that’s he’s hit this many HRs with everyone in the stadium knowing this is pretty damn impressive.
